POPSUGAR Must Have Box
Cost: $39.95/month.
Ships To: United States

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own, and no compensation was received.
POPSUGAR Must Have Box now ships via USPS Parcel Post (they previously shipped via FedEx Smart Post). From what I can tell, my box will still take about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.
Fun Fact: POPSUGAR Must Have Box was the first box I have ever subscribed to way back in June 2012! It was POPSUGAR Must Have “Bag” back then, and their first shipment was in July 2012 (you can see my review of that box here).
The November 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by * sweet * gather * grateful * family * host * and includes:
~Hester & Cook Chalkboard Paper Placemat Pad & Set Of 4 Chalk Style Pencils ($25): This pad contains 30 chalkboard placemats and four pencils, so plenty to use for Thanksgiving dinner! I’m not much of an artist, but you could make such fabulous custom placemats if you had the skills. If they aren’t fancy enough for your Thanksgiving table set-up, how about the kid’s table? They would be helpful in keeping the kids entertained before and after the meal. Super cute!
~Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist PRO Glow To Go Highlight & Contour Palette ($23): The Tartiest PRO Glow to Go mini palette includes pearl and shimmering sand highlighters plus a matte contour shade. It’s small enough to bring in your evening bag, but it’s a full-size item with a lot of product!
~Chloe + Isabel x Jen Atkin Split Headband ($22): Rose gold for the holidays!!! This dual-band headband is gorgeous and would dress up any ponytail. Unfortunately, metal headbands give me a headache, so I will be passing this along to a friend.
~Knot & Bow Holiday Mint Newsprint Gift Wrap ($6): A POPSUGAR exclusive! POPSUGAR does a good job of not including holiday-specific items (like say, Christmas wrapping paper) so any event you want to use this for will work. The newsprint wrap is made of recycled paper, and the pack includes three full-size sheets.
~Fatty Sundays Peppermint Chocolate Covered Pretzels ($3.49): Fatty Sundays makes the most delicious chocolate covered pretzels! I am squirreling these away for a special treat, but I have had them in the past (Birchbox used to send samples every once in a while), and they are yummy. The box also included a 20% off coupon code.
~Unqualified by Anna Faris ($16.61): I’m still sad that Anna and Chriss Pratt broke up ;(. That had nothing at all to do with the book, but I needed to get it out! LOL! So far this is a light, easy read. It has me realizing that I may need to start listening to her podcasts as well!
From Amazon:
After surviving an awkward childhood (when she bribed the fastest boy in the third grade with ice cream), navigating dating and marriage in Hollywood, and building a podcast around romantic advice, Anna has plenty of lessons to share: Advocate for yourself. Know that there are wonderful people out there and that a great relationship is possible. And, finally, don’t date magicians.
Her comic memoir, Unqualified, shares Anna’s candid, sympathetic, and entertaining stories of love lost and won. Part memoir—including stories about being “the short girl” in elementary school, finding and keeping female friends, and dealing with the pressures of the entertainment industry and parenthood—part humorous, unflinching advice from her hit podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, the book will reveal Anna’s unique take on how to master the bizarre, chaotic, and ultimately rewarding world of love.
Hilarious, honest, and useful, Unqualified is the book Anna’s fans have been waiting for.
~Special Extra: BloomThat Gift Card / Coupon ($25): BloomThat offers same-day floral delivery in NYC, LA, and SF. They also offer wines, plants, gift baskets and more. Shipping is extra, and you’ll have to spend extra to use this gift card, but if you were planning on sending a hostess gift anyway (I have my eye on this wreath), this will be helpful.
All totaled the November 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box had a value of $96.10 (that doesn’t include the BloomThat gift card). I used the current Amazon price of the book (not list price), which is why it is under the promised $100 value (they use retail prices). Not my favorite POPSUGAR box. It could have used something else (a nice hand cream maybe?) in my opinion. But I still (like always) feel that I got my monies worth!
What do you think of the November 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box? If you are interested in ordering (your subscription will begin with THIS box while supplies last), you can use coupon code “MUSTHAVE5” to save $5 off your first box.
Oh that headband would be pretty in a bridal updo!
Ohhh, yes! It really would!
Good review and the box felt like it was missing something after oct box. There was plenty of room in box for something!
Ha! I thought there were more goodies under that cardboard. Like a second layer!
