Mine Chest, the first official Minecraft subscription box, is a bundle of hand-picked, official, Minecraft goodies, delivered right to your doorstep every other month. It should be noted that Mine Chest has recently joined forces with Loot Crate and now ships bi-monthly instead of monthly. In addition, the price has increased from $36.99 to $39.99/box.

Mine Chest ships via FedEx Smart Post. This box was supposed to shop around the 15th of November (at least I think so anyway) but, as usual, it ended up shipping later than that.

My boys are 5 and 9 and are absolutely obsessed with Minecraft. They always get so excited to open up these boxes.  I pretty much have to sneak the box into the house, take the pictures and then box it all up again for them to go crazy with.

The November / December 2017 Mine Chest theme was “BEYOND THE PORTAL” and included the following items:

~Enderman T-Shirt: My 9-year says this is a cool t-shirt and he would know!  It has a navy background with a purple Enderman.  Enderman are usually black, but this one must be wearing a skin.

~Minecraft Ender Dragon Lamp: This was a huge hit at our house and I think it has been on since we received it.  Plugs in using a USB port and is more decorative than anything else (you won’t be reading with this lamp).  It turns the room a fun hue of purple and just looks cool!

~Stuffed Ender Chest:  My 5-year-old had to explain what this was to me.  He was shocked I didn’t know.  LOL! An ender chest differs from other chests because the items inside the chest will teleport between ender chests.

~Minecraft Enderman Pin: Every Mine Chest so far (at least I believe this is the case) has included a pin related to that month’s theme.  My boys have these on their backpacks and love getting new ones.

~Mine Chest Sticker:  Hmm.  I really don’t know what this sticker is and my boys aren’t around to tell me.  LOL!  I do know that my 5-year-old loves it and has covered up Elmo with it on his tablet case.

I can’t do a cost breakdown on this box (lots of Mine Chest exclusives), but my boys loved this box.  They always do and get so excited to open it all up.
