Dear Friday, You got here fast this week!

Dear Cookie Decorating Videos, You never get old.

Dear Say Yes To The Dress, Something about you makes me feel like I should work in a bridal salon.  I’m all “no, that dress isn’t for you, you need a mermaid style with less bling”.

Dear Downtown Detroit, I love that you are getting busy and have lots of amazing stuff to see / do now.  But darn it if it isn’t hard to find a spot to park!

Dear Target, You have had some great stuff lately.  Okay, who am I kidding?  You always have great stuff!

Dear Bella, You have the best dog teeth ever.  I need to get a picture of your smile.  Also, I have no idea how you escaped your crate yesterday morning and ended up on my bed.

Dear The Ordinary, You are seriously the best thing to happen to my skin in years.  Maybe in forever.

Spread the love

Jennifer

Hi! What products are you using from the Ordinary? I?m not sure where to start

I’m also interested in this. What’s your regime? That was high praise so I clicked to the website and got immediately confused. Also, what specifically is it helping with? Sorry for all the questions! 🙂

I haven’t been using the full regime (it’s just too many steps for me really), but I am using (after I normal cleanser):

      AM:
      ~Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (sometimes I mix with The Buffet)
      ~Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (under eyes)
      ~High-Adherence Silicone Primer

      PM:
      ~Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (sometimes I mix with Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%)
      ~Granactive Retinoid* 2% Emulsion
      ~Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (under eyes)

I don’t know if it’s “right” but it seems to be working for me!

I’m with everyone else….it sounds so confusing. Reading your regime I wonder, how did you know you needed all of those products? If they were named specifically maybe I could understand it. EYE CREAM, ANTI-AGING SERUM, DAY/NIGHT CREAM.(as opposed to Niacinamide & Granactiv Retinoids).the names seem scary to me, like I’m really going to miss something up if I guess wrong.

I don’t think you are going to mess anything up. A lot of it was trial and error for me and I read a lot about them online to kind of figure out what I needed for my skin. At first I liked “The Buffet” and “Matrixyl 10% + HA” and then they started balling up on my skin, so I knew they weren’t for me. They weren’t irritating, but something wasn’t sitting right?
