My December 2017 Wise Apple included the following lunches:

~Nosh With Nolis: This meal contains a Roast Beef Wrap, Baby Carrots w/ Yogurt Ranch, Sliced Green Apples and a Veggie Brownie.  Overall, this meal was a hit.  I am 90% sure the Yogurt Ranch went unused, and the lettuce came out of the wrap, but L (my 9-year-old) ate everything else.  He thinks these veggie brownies are the best thing ever.  I finally told him that it has Sweet Potatoes in it, but he wasn’t fazed at all.  He still declared it amazing – veggies and all.

~Chick Chick Hooray: Chick Chick Hooray includes Chicken Dippers, Baby Carrots with Yogurt Ranch, Green Apples and another delicious Veggie Brownie.  The Chicken Dippers are probably of my favorite Wise Apple snacks.  The coating seems like it’s fried, but I believe it’s a combination of rice flour/cornstarch and a few other things.  Whatever it is, it’s good.

~Pita Pizza: Pita Pizza includes cheese Pita Pizza, Veggie Chips, Green Apples and Chocolate Chip Cookies.  I feel like this box had lots of green apples, but my kids do like them, so I guess it’s not a big deal.  The chocolate chip cookies were the hit of this meal.  I don’t believe these have veggies in them as the brownies do, but my kids were big fans!

~Ham & Cheese Please: Ham & Cheese Please features Ham & Cheddar Cheese Slices, Grape Tomatoes and Crackers, Green Apples and Yogurt Covered Pretzels.  This one reminded me most of a traditional Lunchable.  And, of course, my little one (he’s 5) loved it.  He passed on the tomatoes, but I didn’t think he’d actually eat those anyway ;).

~BBQ Chicken Tacos: BBQ Chicken Tacos included BBQ Chicken Tacos, Carrots & Yogurt Ranch, Green Grapes and a Veggie Brownie.  The veggie brownie and the grapes were the big hits in this one.  I thought the tacos were good, but my boys weren’t fans.  I think it was because they were cold?

What do you think of Wise Apple?  If you are interested in ordering, you can use coupon code “SUBBOX20” to save $20 off your first delivery.  That brings the cost of a week down to $21.86 (including the tax on shipping) or $4.37/meal.  I think that’s more than worth it and it’s a great way to try the service!
