Mine Chest, the first official Minecraft subscription box, is a bundle of hand-picked, official, Minecraft goodies, delivered right to your doorstep every other month. Exactly what’s included is a closely-guarded secret, but expect an exclusive t-shirt, exclusive items, a premium collectible chest, a unique project, and a selection of official collectibles. It should be noted that Mine Chest has moved back to their own platform and are no longer under the Loot Crate subscription umbrella.

Mine Chest ships via FedEx Smart Post. This box was supposed to shop around the 15th of January (at least I think so anyway) but, as usual, it ended up shipping later than that.

My boys are 5 and 9 and are absolutely obsessed with Minecraft. They always get so excited to open up these boxes.  I pretty much have to sneak the box into the house, take the pictures and then box it all up again for them to go crazy with.

The January / February 2018 Mine Chest theme was “Journey to Bedrock” and included the following items:

~Silverfish T-Shirt: My 9-year-old gets all the t-shirts from these boxes and gave his approval to this one.  It has a charcoal grey background with a somewhat colorful Silverfish.

~Minecraft Hangers – Series 3: Somehow Mine Chest must know my boys share this box and would both want one of these!  We received a Witch and a Villager!  Both have already been attached to their backpacks!

~Stuffed Bedrock Cube: I am not 100% sure what purpose these stuffed cubes hold, but we have gotten a few of them from Mine Chest over the years.  My kids have them all stacked up, and every once in a while will throw them at each other ;).

~Mine Chest Stickers: Mine Chest generally includes a sticker sheet in their box and this month’s box was no exception.  One of the signs is blank while the other says “Never dig straight down.”  For some reason, I am very into the Never Dig Straight Down sign.

~Lava Pin:  Mine Chest usually includes a pin in every box, and this is one of our favorites!  This is a Lava Block and will be a great addition to my youngest one’s backpack!Mine Chest Review - January / February 2018
Because of all of the exclusives, I can’t do a price breakdown on Mine Chest, but we are always happy with our boxes!
