This week I am saying so what if…
~Sometimes I feel like my children’s homework is actually MY homework.
~I was relieved that the boys teachers didn’t request Spring conferences. #nonewsisgoodnews
~I am still thinking about The Bachelor. Lauren is much nicer than I am.
~Realty Steve knows everything.
~Also, spoiler alert, does she get to keep the ring?
~I am officially done with this snow.
~I really like looking at pictures of people’s pets.
~I also really like running. Even though I swore I never would.
~Giving up carbs will never be on my radar.
What are you saying so what to this week?
My daughter’s math hw ended in tears last night. I am horrible at math so I’m useless when it comes to helping her. My oldest does a good job but sometimes he has a hard time explaining it to her. I really wish they wouldn’t give out math hw. I’m sure I’m not the only parent who struggles with that subject especially with how different it is taught now. I read Reality Steve’s spoilers every season since I stopped watching years ago. It’s amazing how spot on he is!
He knows everything!
And I know ;(. It’s like we as parents also need a lesson in this math because it’s so different. I just look at it like………… Luckily math is L’s strong subject or I know I would be in tears too!
We have had many nights of us all in tears over math….I know how to do it, but I can’t explain to anyone else, and doing it “in your head” isn’t an option on test day. You have to draw a story book or write an essay on why you took away two oranges in the first place.
