My July 2018 ArmourBox included the following items:
~UA Reflect Tote (Glacier Gray) ($49.99): I.love.this. I have a thing for bags and badly wanted to keep this. Sadly I don’t “need” a gym bag or another overnight bag, so I have to send this back. It’s 100% polyester and has UA Storm® technology which repels water to protect your gear from the elements. It has an adjustable strap & comfortable handles, lots of inner pockets and compartments and is just all and all pretty fabulous. Verdict: Returned. (SAD)
~Women’s UA Microthread Renegade Printed Cap (Black) ($25 $18.75): I used to never wear hats, but I have been trying to get a little more into them lately. Mainly to protect my hair color from fading because I don’t feel like I look great in hats. Had this arrived two weeks ago I would have kept it in a second, but I already bought two and don’t thnk I need a third. Verdict: Returned.
~Women’s UA Microthread Terry Shorts ($45 $33.75): I basically hate these. I really only wear shorts when it’s very hot out and these just feel SO heavy. They are 68% Cotton/20% Elasterell/12% Polyester and are described as a Lightweight French Terry fleece. I didn’t find them to be lightweight at all though. I did like the length and the color though. Verdict: Returned.
~Women’s UA Streaker Tank (Steel Light Heather) ($27.99 $20.99): The color was hard to get on camera, but it’s grey and coral striped. I love the colors and the style of this tank, but it did not fit me at all. It’s a Medium, but it was tight in the chest and too big in the waist. Just not flattering (on me) at all. Verdict: Returned.
~Women’s UA SpeedForm® AMP Slip Training Shoes (Merlot / White) ($110 $82.50): I have been asking for bold / wild shoes and they (finally) delivered. I am not exactly sure what I would use these for though? They are referred to as training shoes, but I just run, spin and go to barre and I have all the footwear I need for those activties. Now had these been running shoes they’d be all mine ;). Verdict: Returned.
~Women’s UA Vanish Camo Mesh Full Zip (Merlot) ($80 $60): The final item was a super cute zip just jacket. It reminds me a bit of the lululemon define jackers. I liked the fit of this in the arms and body, but overall it was just too short. I only had it on for five minutes and must have pulled it down a dozen times. Verdict: Returned.
Had I kept all of the pieces from my July 2018 ArmourBox it would have cost me $225.55. That’s after the 20% keep all discount and after tax. Not a bad deal, and I absolutely appreciate that they give you the online sale prices of the items (plus the 20% keep all discount) and don’t just use the retail prices.
Have you tried ArmourBox? If so, what did you think? And if you were me, which pieces would you keep from this box?
Just curious, how come you don’t wear shorts? You look great!
I don’t know really? I wear leggings to barre (shorts are a no-no) and cycle (I’m just more comfortable) and will sometimes run in shorts, but not all the time. I do wear jean / khaki shorts, but if given the choice, I would pick leggings / pants.
