Birchbox Review + Coupon Code – September 2018

Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for over five years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.

Birchbox ships via USPS and all boxes generally ship by the 10th of the month.

This review is on the curated September 2018 Birchbox. I didn’t “need” any of the sample choice items this month, but thought the curated box looked fantastic.

The September 2018 Curated Birchbox included the following items:

~Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment (5mL) ($17.50): Sunday Riley should be in every single subscription box if you ask me!  Their Lactic Acid Treatment brightens, smooths, plumps, and evens out skin tone.  So far I love it.  So much so that I would have already bought it if it wasn’t $105 for the full-size.  Ouch!

~R+Co PARK AVE Blow Out Balm (0.5oz) ($2.90): This style balm gives you a volume boost while also proteting your hair from heat styling.  It smells great and doesn’t weigh down your hair.

~Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer (0.11fl.oz) ($1.98): This pore primer evens out the look of skin for seamless makeup application.  It blurs your skin and gives it an almost filtered look.

~Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day® Liquid Lipstick (0.05oz) ($11): This color is a little too pink for me, but my SIL will love it.  It stays on all day as promised and is very moisturizing.

~thisworks® deep sleep™ pillow spray (~$3): This spray is packed with 100% pure essential oils, including calming lavender, patchouli, and chamomile.  It aims to lull you to sleep faster and help you wake up feeling more refreshed!   I don’t know if I sleep better when I use this, but I certainly don’t sleep worse and I like the scent.

~HUM Nutrition Hair Sweet Hair Gummies (2 Gummies) ($0.83): The final item in the box was a pack of HUM Gummies.  It was only a single serving so all I can say is that they tasted great.

All totaled the September 2018 Curated Birchbox had a value of about $37.  WOW!  This was my favorite curated box in a long time.  More Sunday Riley please!!!!
