SnackSack Subscription Box Review - September 2018

The September 2018 SnackSack included the following items:

~Smashmallow Smash Crispy Cinnamon Churro: Shashmallows are good, but these are next level.  I can’t wait for even more flavors to come out and for these to appear at my local Kroger.

~Bjorn Qorn: Bjorn Qorn is homegrown non-gmo popcorn and season with all natural, gluten free, and vegan ingredients. It’s better than most bagged popcorns I have tried, but it’s not movie popcorn!

~Sheffa Cafe Mocha Granola Bar: I had high hopes for this, but it ended up being a miss.  There was just someone off on the texture?

~Jana Banana with Coconut: These have popped up in assorted subscription boxes over the years.  I like the dark chocolate ones more than this coconut one, but that’s just a personal preference.  If you are a fan of coconut y9ou’d probably enjoy this one more.

~KPop! Foods Crispy Sea Snacks: No matter how many boxes I get seaweed in, I just don’t like it.  The texture is fine, but the taste and smell?  Just no.

~R!se Buddy Baked Rice Snacks: These are addicting!  They are gluten-free, baked with whole-grains and have 0 grams of trans fat.

~Super Snack Time Pizza in a Bag Pepperoni Jerky: Well, this is the best of both worlds. Pepperoni that tastes like jerky!  Or jerky that tastes like pepperoni.  Either way, it’s fabulous and this flavor combo should have been discovered long ago.

~Handfulls Crrrunch Bites! Honey Mustard Almonds: Meh, if these weren’t honey mustard I *might* have enjoyed them.  Ranch or cheddar flavored almonds.  Those would have been a yes!

~The Protein Ball Lemon + Pistachio: These are described as ‘”raw pitted dates, cashews, flaked desiccated coconut, poppy seeds, vegan plant based proteins (including organic pea + brown rice) topped off with a zesty lemon flavour”.  That is a lot going on and it tastes like it.

~Farmhouse Culture Dill Pickle Kraut Krisps: Now I don’t like pickles, but I liked these!  And I would have them again.   I am impressed with how fabulous these are.

~SunRype Fruit to Go: These are gluten-free, vegan and nut-free.  Like a fruit roll-up, but better!

~DIPIN Roasted Red Pepper Hummus: So good!  I am going to try and find the packages of these with the pita chips in them.
