ipsy Review - January 2019

ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy Review - January 2019ipsy bags have a ton of variation, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.
ipsy Review - January 2019
My January 2019 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~GLAMGLOW Glowstarter™ Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow (7mL) ($7): Send me all the GlamGlow!  This is a moisturizer and illuminated glow in one supercharged soft cream.  It is almost like a BB cream, but with a gorgeous light shimmer.  It blurs your skin – no need for an Instagram filter here.

ipsy Review - January 2019

~SAND & SKY Australian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment (10g) ($4.29): This exfoliating treatment refines pores and absorbs oils.  I received a sample of this in another box (maybe Birchbox?) and love the results I have been getting. My face is clearer (I was having a ton of breakouts) and looks brighter.

ipsy Review - January 2019

~LUXIE BEAUTY 1010 Small Contour ($12): This does not appear to be available on the Luxie website, so I used the price ipsy was offering for Glam Bag Plus add-ons. This brush aims to be your go-to for blending out contouring and bronzing powders where you need some definition.  The handle is my favorite part about this brush – so easy to hold.

ipsy Review - January 2019

~LAQA & CO. Prickly Pear pH Gloss (1.5g) (~$5): CUTE!!!!  This changes color based on the PH of your lips, so it is going to look different on everyone.  It is for sure pink, but NOT a hot pink like the tube makes it seem.  It is glossy, but not sticky and smells great!

~EYEKO Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner Travel Size in Carbon Black (1.2g) ($12): If I used liquid eyeliner I would probably like this.  It does draw a straight line (as long as your hand is steady anyway) and it is fun to use.  It is waterproof and drie quickly too.

~The Bag: This bag is so Spring-like!  Can it be Spring now?
ipsy Review - January 2019

All totaled my January 2019 ipsy Glam Bag had a value of $40.  Maybe not my all-time favorite bag, but I the value was certainly there and it was worth my $10!
