I believe the August 2018 Play! by Sephora was the last month to feature the drawstring cloth bag. They have now switched to resuable plastic bags.

The August 2018 Play! by Sephora theme is “BEAUTY SCHOOLED” and included the following items:

~Anastasia Clear Brow Gel (~$10):I don’t know how it happens, but my brows often look like I just woke up.  Basically I have bed head on my brows. This helps keeps them in place without making them look overdone.  Just what I need@

~Make Up Forever Artist Rouge Creme (C211) (1,4g) ($8.80): C211 is Rose Wood – a very pretty nude shade. I am more of a gloss girl, so I passed this on to my SIL who loved it!

~MoroccanOil Dry Texture Spray (26mL) ($3.55): This gave me great volume without making my hair feel crunchy or hard.  I have used it on my hair while damp and also during the day for an extra boost.

Play! by Sephora Review - August 2018

~Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper (~$4): Fantastic!  It tingles when it goes on, but it really does plump your lips.  It may be my favorite lip plumping product out there.  It’s formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates and is gluten and cruelty-free.

Play! by Sephora Review - August 2018

~Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay (30mL) ($13): This mask is fantastic.  It is designed to draw out impurities and gently exfoliate skin to refine its texture and boost radiance.  I just started using it after the holidays (I am way behind on this review) and have already noticed a difference in my skin.  It’s brighter and my breakouts have calmed down!

~amika Brust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner (~$3):  I really have no idea why I received this?  I have brown hair and it’s noted in my profile.  This will get passed along to a friend.

Play! by Sephora Review - August 2018

All totaled my August 2018 Play! by Sephora had a value of about $43.  With the exception of the blonde shampoo and conditioner, this box was a great fit for me and the value was outstanding!

What did you think of the August 2018 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.
