ipsy Review - May 2019
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I alway think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy Review - May 2019
This month’s ipsy information card listed all of the products included in my bag. I love that ipsy is now doing this! My May 2019 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~Benefit Cosmetics BAGgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara (3g) ($9.75): I mention it every single time I get a mascara (I am sure it gets tiring to read), but I have lash extensions, so I do not wear mascara.  If I did though, it would likely be a Benefit mascara like this one.  I am all about the volume and this is supposed to get you bigger and badder lashes!

~R+CO Waterfall Moisture + Shine Lotion (15mL) ($2.96): This is a lotion – for your hair.  You can apply it to wet hair and style as usual or to dry hair to tame flyaways.  I used it on my dry hair and in addition to taming flyaways, it made my hair nice and shiny.

~SLMISSGLAM SS57 Blending Brush (~$6): Maybe one of the prettiest brushes I have ever received!  It is giving me serious unicorn / mermaid vibes.

~La Chatelaine Coconut Milk Hand Cream (15mL) ($4.50): Ahh, this smells incredible.  I found it to be ultra hydrating and the perfect size for my purse.  It is also cruelty-free and free from BHT, Parabens, or Phthalates, Phenoxyethanol, DEA, or Propylene Glycol.
ipsy Review - May 2019

~Naked Cosmetics Loose Pigment in Painted Canyon #06 (1.5g) ($14.99): The final item I received was a loose pigment in Painted Canyon.  It is a very flattering color – I would describe it as a brown – rose gold – pink hybrid.

~The Bag: This bag tho!! It is a glittery gold with hints of color and a hot pink interior.  With the black tassel closure, it could easily double as a night out bag.

ipsy Review - May 2019

All totaled my May 2019 ipsy had a value of about $39.  Not the best ipsy bag I have ever received nor the most valuable, but it was still a solid month.
