The August 2019 GlobeInSALUD” themed box included the following items:

1. Personal Sangria Pitcher – Dark Blue, Morocco ($40 value):  I can get behind the idea of a personal Sangria picture.  Hahaha!  This picture was handmade in Morocco using Fair Trade labor by artisans working with Serghini Workshops.  They set wages above minimum levels, provide heathcare and retirement pension plans and guarantee a safe working enviornment for their artists.

Measurements: 6.5″ H x 7″ W

Materials: Handmade ceramic.

Care Instructions: Handwash only.

Country of Origin: Morocco

2. Stemless Wine Glass – Green Swirl, Mexico ($15 value): I was surprised there was not a second glass, but then I realized that it is a personal Sangria pitcher, so you only need one.  Makes sense.  This glass was made in Mexico by artisans working with Cristaluc.  Their craftsmen are paid fair wages, which enables them to provide for their families.

Measurements: 4″ glass

Materials: Handblown glass

Care Instructions: Use only for room temperature or chilled liquids. Not designed for hot liquids. Hand wash.

Country of Origin: Mexico
