Play! by Sephora Review - February 2020

Play! by Sephora has switched to recycled bags (they previous sent cloth bags) and I love them. I usually ended up tossing the drawstring cloth ones, but I will save these resealable ones.

The February 2020 Play! by Sephora theme is “Beauty Soul Mates” and included the following items:

~Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (~$10): Luckily I love this because it’s the third time I have received it in a Play! box (it came in January 2017 and November 2019).  It’s a classic and like I said I do love it (I feel like it’s universally flattering), but I find it curious they sent it to me twice in four months.

~Kat Von D Beauty Lock-It Setting Powder (1.4g) ($4.15): This silky powder softly diffuse pores for a velvety-matte, selfie-ready finish. It ‘s not product I will likely use often, but it is nice to have around if needed.

~Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer (7mL) ($6.72): This is fantastic!  It smells like cucumbers and left my skin so soft and hydrated.

~Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser (30mL) ($3.04): This is another classic, although it is the first time I have received it in a Play box.  It works for all skin-types and is such a great size for traveling. If you are in the market for a new cleanser, start here.
Play! by Sephora Review - February 2020

~Clinique Blackhead Solutions 7 Day Deep Pore Cleanse & Scrub (15mL) ($2.88): I have acne prone skin, so this is a great fit for me.  You can use it as a scrub or a mask, depending on your needs.  I have been using in the shower as a scrub and was able to see a difference in just a few uses.
Play! by Sephora Review - February 2020

~Bonus: Verb Ghost Oil (1.5mL) ($0.45): I love when my Bonus sample is something other than perfume. Ghost Oil is weightless and revitalizes, strengthens, and smooths for soft, glossy hair.  My hair has never been smoother!

All totaled my February 2020  Play! by Sephora had a value of about $27.  Not the best value, but an okay box I suppose.

What did you think of the February 2020 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.

Spread the love
