Birchbox is a monthly subscription of beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. Â They recently increased the price of their box from $10/month to $15/month (current subscribers were grandfathered in at $13/month or $10/month for annual subscribers) and promise improvements to personalization, new products to choose from, more customization options for subscribers and faster shipping, among other things. Â April 2019 was the first month of the changes and I was anxious to get my box and see the changes for myself.

This review is on the March 2020 Woman-Founded, Vol. 1 Birchbox. I opted for a pre-selected curated box this month instead of a sample choice.
My March 2020 Birchbox included the following items:
~Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Original (6 patches) ($2.16): These were 100% the reason I selected this box.  They are incredible.  They absolutely draw the gunk out and help you get rid of blemishes more quickly. 10/10 recommend trying these!
~Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Hydrate Primer (0.1 fl.oz) ($4.27): The POREfessional Hydrate Primer moisturizes skin, helps makeup stay put, and minimizes the look of pores and fine lines in one step. It is designed to be used under makeup, but I like it alone.  I feel like it gives me a nice little blur and also does a great job moisturizing.
~Naturally Serious Skin Warrior Anti-Pollution Repair Cream (.25 fl.oz) ($4.27):  It’s way too early to see any changes from this (it is supposed to defend against pollution protection and, therefore, combat signs of aging). All good things and it does make my skin feel good.
~Georgette Klinger Vitamin C Toner (0.50 fl.oz) ($1.94): I love a good toner.  This feels cool and refreshing and not at all harsh.  It didn’t dry my skin and actually left it surprisingly hydrated.
~Beachwaver Co. Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray (1.4oz) ($4.72): I try my hardest to avoid heat styling, but sometimes it is impossible.  The smell is a little heavy, but it I liked the flexible hold.
~amika Un.Done Volume and Matte Texture Spray (27mL) ($3.52):  Ahh, I love this.  It gives my hair great volume without making it sticky or hard to the touch. Just great volume without weighing my hair down.
