Birchbox is a monthly subscription of beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. They recently increased the price of their box from $10/month to $15/month (current subscribers were grandfathered in at $13/month or $10/month for annual subscribers) and promise improvements to personalization, new products to choose from, more customization options for subscribers and faster shipping, among other things. April 2019 was the first month of the changes and I was anxious to get my box and see the changes for myself.
Birchbox ships via USPS and all boxes generally ship by the 10th of the month.
~Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray (1oz) ($5.65): Love this stuff! It is one of the main reasons I selected this box. My hair is thin and straight and this gives it great volume without weighing it down or making it sticky. Plus it smells great!
~Love of Color One & Done Shadow Stick (Champagne Problems) (Full-Size) ($10): Champagne problems is a Silvery Taupe. Super flattering, easy to apply and just the right amount of shine. What’s not to like?
~BYROE Rice Cleansing Sorbet (6.5mL) ($4.68): Rice Cleansing Sorbet is an ultra-creamy, luxe oil/balm hybrid cleanser. It is pretty price for a cleanser, but wow did it make my skin glow.
~My Hair. My Canvas. New Beginnings Exfoliating Cleanser (0.85oz) ($3.81): This is cleanser – for your hair (it also works on your body though). I don’t know how much of a difference this made to my hair (it didn’t feel as exfoliating as an apple cider vinegar rinse), but it didn’t leave it greasy or weigh it down.
~Benefit Cosmetics Chachatint Lip & Cheek Stain (0.07 fl.oz) ($6.30): Love the color, the applicator, everything! This is just good stuff!
All totaled my June 2020 Birchbox had a value of $31. It wasn’t all the all-time ever best Birchbox, but I am super happy with it and will use-up all the items.
Did you get Birchbox this month? What you’d get in your box and what’d you think?
