Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own, and no compensation was received.
POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and generally takes about a week to arrive. POPSUGAR is going more eco-friendly with their packaging and is no longer shipping a box in a box. I can absolutely appreciate that. Sure it does not look as pretty in pictures, but that is not a big deal at all!
Fun Fact: POPSUGAR Must Have Box was the first box I have ever subscribed to way back in June 2012! It was POPSUGAR Must Have “Bag” back then, and their first shipment was in July 2012 (you can see my review of that box here). And sadly, the Summer 2020 Box is their last. It was a fun ride with POPSUGAR Must Have Box and I am sad to see them go.
The Summer 2020 POPSUGAR Must Have Box includes the following items:
~Pool to Party by Subtle Luxury Birds of Paradise Pareo ($68): How gorgeous is this? It can be worn as a scarf, a wrap, a sarong, a cover-up, etc. It is made from a 100% polyester fabric and has a fun tasseled trim. It is lightweight, breathable and super easy to travel with.
~Roxanne Assoulin Patchwork Bride Set of 10 Bracelets ($62.50): I had read a few different places that these bracelets were small and I keep thinking to myself, how small can stretchy bracelets really be? Well, I can now confirm that they are actually very small. They fit on my wrist, but they felt tight. I will say that that you can get them to stay stretched so they don’t feel quite as tight. I love how colorful they are and can’t wait to take these on a beach vacation (which is not happening anytime soon).
~Mar Y Sol “Tanya” Raffia Crossbody ($59): This can be worn over-the-shoulder, as a cross body or held as a clutch. I can’t decide which I like best! This is so summery and again, would be ideal for a beach vacation. It is large enough for the biggest iPhone, lip gloss, etc. and has a small inner pocket for cash / credit cards. So it is big enough for your essentials, but small enough to easily pack.
~Antica Farmacista 9oz Candle in Lush Palm ($46): I would never pay $46 for a candle (okay maybe I would), but I love getting expensive candles in subscription boxes. This one smells in credit. It has notes of Tahitian gardenia, dewy banana leaf and windswept palms. This candle brings the beach vacation to you! I am not done with it yet, but it is supposed to burn for 60 hours according to the information booklet which is pretty impressive for a candle of this size.
~Farmacy Very Cherry Bright ($62): Yes! Super excited about this. I think it is my favorite item of the box. I have been using Cheer Up and Honeymoon Glow with great results and am very excited to test this out. It has vitamin-c which is a potent antioxidant that visibly brightens, firms, and fights free radicals to reduce signs of aging. Sounds good right? I have been using a different vitamin-c serum (which I do like), so I will finish that one up and then start this one.
~C’est Moi Gentle Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes ($10): another perfect travel item. This pack contains 30-wipes that are designed for delicate, sensitive and blemish-prone skin types. They are fragrance-free and even the packaging materials are recyclable.
~R.E.D.D. Oatmeal Plant-based Protein Bar ($2.99): Not my favorite, but not the worst protein bar I have ever tried either. It was super filling – it includes 10g of protein, but just not my favorite taste.
~Daily Crunch Cherry Berry Nut Medley ($3.49): B (my husband) liked these, but I am not an almond fan. These are almonds soaked in coffee – no added anything else. They are salt free, oil free and great for veto, vegan and paleo diets.
Bonus items:
~Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water (4 samples):I have heard that this is a hard to find item right now? These samples are good for a few uses each so again would be great for travel. I am kind of thinking about opening them all and putting them into one container to get the most of use out of them. I find the plastic packets kind of difficult to store after opened, so I think that will be easier.
~Natural Vitality Calm Magnesium Supplement (4oz): I have been wanting to try this but didn’t want to spend the money on a giant canister and then hate it. I thought it tasted great but as for making me calmer? That is still up in the air.
~Batiste Waterless Cleaning Foam: Not a dry shampoo, a waterless cleansing foam. It dries in 60 seconds with no rinsing or brushing needed. If you don’t love the residue that traditional dry shampoos leave, this might be something to look into.
What do you think of the Summer 2020 POPSUGAR Must Have Box? Don’t forget that this is their LAST.BOX.EVER (so sad) so if you have ever wanted to try one, now is the time.
