Birchbox is a monthly subscription of beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. They recently increased the price of their box from $10/month to $15/month (current subscribers were grandfathered in at $13/month or $10/month for annual subscribers) and promise improvements to personalization, new products to choose from, more customization options for subscribers and faster shipping, among other things. April 2019 was the first month of the changes and I was anxious to get my box and see the changes for myself.
Birchbox ships via USPS and all boxes generally ship by the 10th of the month.
This review is on the November 2020 Birchbox. I selected a sample item this month instead of a curated box, so most of the items in here were a surprise.
My November 2020 Birchbox included the following items:
~Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara (0.1oz) ($8.33): As usual, I will be passing this mascara on to a friend. I have lash extensions, so I don’t wear mascara.
~Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum (5mL) ($14.17): Love Sunday Riley and I love seeing it in subscription boxes. It helps with dark spots and generally just gives your skin an overall better look.
~Birchbox Jade Roller ($12): I still don’t know if jade rollers make my skin “look” better, but they certainly make it feel better. I find it soothing and out it leaves me feeling relaxed.
~Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Cleanser (50mL) ($4.67) & Conditioner (50mL) ($5.60): I tend not to purchase expensive shampoo and conditioner (I like the big bottles they sell at Costco), but when I am traveling I do love to take these types of samples along!
All totaled my November 2020 Birchbox had a value of approximately $45. This was a great month for me!
Did you get Birchbox this month? What you’d get in your box and what’d you think?
