This review is on the March 2021 Birchbox. I selected a sample item this month instead of a curated box, so most of the items in here were a surprise. A total surprise I might add, as only two of the items in my box actually match what is shown in my account online.
My March 2021 Birchbox included the following items:
~Alfaparf Milano Cristalli Liquidi (15mL) ($14.40): This is one of those items you really need to read about before you try it. If you just look at the bottle, it could easily be mistaken for a face oil. It’s actually a brightening hair oil serum. The scent is a bit strong, but it did add shine. Just don’t use too much.
~Payot HYDRA 24 + CRÈME GLACÉE (15mL) ($14.40): I found this to be rich and ultra-hydrating. It is supposed to diminish fine lines, but I didn’t notice any changes.
~Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – Black (1.2mL) ($12.57): Ahh, black eyeliner. What is there to say really? If you have been here long enough you know I am not into black eyeliner (or any eyeliner for that matter) and wish I could opt out of receiving them forever. LOL. Luckily I have friends who love it that I can pass it along to.
~Amika Flash Instant Shine Mask (30mL) ($3.73): This hydrates and adds shine to your hair AND only takes 60 seconds in the shower to use. That is a win for me. If you have fine and oily hair, use this mask after shampooing, instead of conditioner. For thick and dry hair types, use this as your last step, after shampoo and conditioner.
~Pur-lisse Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF30 – Light (7mL) ($6.13): Probably my favorite product in the box. It is a BB cream with built in SPF30. It gives you a great glow and also products your skin from the sun.
All totaled my March 2021 Birchbox had a value of approximately $52. A nice value for sure, but not my favorite box from them.
Did you get Birchbox this month? What you’d get in your box and what’d you think?
