~Good morning! It has been nearly a full year since I made a Thursday Thoughts post and to say things have changed since then would be an understatement.  That was still around the time that we thought it would be a 2 week shutdown, kids would be back in school shortly, etc.  My kids still aren’t back in school full-time, in-person yet, but (fingers crossed) that is supposed to happen next month.  Both of my kids are excited to be back in-person and would pick in-person any day over virtual.

~I did a comparison on my Instagram about the Tory Burch Cloud Millers vs. Regular Millers a few weeks ago.  At the time I was planning on keeping the Clouds, but noted I liked the regular Millers better.  Well, after reading some reviews about the Clouds chipping and cracking after only a few wears, I decided to return my Clouds.  Timing was perfect because Tory Burch is currently having their Spring Sale and I scored a pair of Patent Millers in “Sand” (on sale for $149), added a candle ($68) and ended up getting an additional 25% off via the Spring sale.  So I got Millers + a candle for $165 – about $35 less than I paid just for a Clouds.  Score!

~We have taken on a few home projects in the last few weeks and I am thrilled with how they came out.
Office Before / After
I painted my office (Willow Tree SW7741 by Sherwin Williams), picked up a new rug from Ruggable and added a few more accessories (Ottoman from Target, Mirror from Hobby Lobby) to change out the look.  I still need some sort of art for the back wall but haven’t found anything I love yet.

Fireplace Before / After
For the fireplace we took down the tile and put up this panel ledger.  It was a fairly easy project (took an afternoon), but it makes SUCH a change!

~
Next up I want to do a peel and stick wallpaper in my downstairs 1/2 bathroom.  Has anyone used peel and stick wallpaper?  Was it as easy to use as everyone makes it seem?

That’s it from here!  Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!!   What have you been up to lately?

Spread the love

I kept my Clouds. I have wide feet and need the padding so they work from me. I’ve worn them a few times but taking them on vacation for a few weeks and if they chip quickly I will return them and try to get my $ back. $200 shoes should last!

Please report back on chipping!!!!! I agree for $200, they should last.
