Birchbox is a monthly subscription of beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. As a Birchbox subscriber, you’ll receive a monthly box (it’s reusable and recyclable) filled with five expert-selected premium samples and easy-to-follow insider tips. If you fall in love with a sample, no worries – they sell the full size version in their shop.
Birchbox ships via USPS and, in general, takes about a week to arrive.
This review is on the April 2021 Birchbox. No curated boxes were available this month.
My April 2021 Birchbox included the following items:
~[ comfort zone ] Remedy Cream to Oil Ultra Gentle Cleanser (15mL) ($3.50): I found this to be hydrating and loved the lather. It smelled good too.
~Grace & Stella Rose Water Facial Mist (30mL) ($3.13): I have tried this in the past and have never noticed any physical changes in my skin from using it. However, it feels amazing on a warm summer day. This is going in my skin fridge in hopes we will have one of those days in Michigan real soon.
~Magnitone WipeOut ‘Swipes’ – The Amazing Makeup Remover Pad (2pk) ($6.67): These are the softest facial pads ever. Seriously. They remove makeup with just water and can be reused thousands of times. And did I mention they were soft? Like a cloud touching your skin.
~Re.fil Beauty Balm ($12): All Birchbox subscribers received a Re.ful Beauty Balm this month. It’s a lip balm, but will also tame your brows, soothe dry patches and even can be used on your cuticles. Birchbox subscribers get exclusive access to Re.fil in the April box and it will be available to all others to purchase on 4/23.
~VITAMASQUES Hydrate Blue Agave Biodegradable Sheet Mask and Eco Pouch ($5): I have yet to use this sheet mask, but it is supposed to be ultra-hydrating. You do need to leave it on for 20 minutes which seems like a while for a sheet mask, so be prepared.
~Stasher Sandwich Bag ($11.99): I saved the best for last! April is Earth Month and instead of a “box” this month, Birchbox packaged everything in a reusable Stasher bag! The outer box was still the same, but I love the idea of not sending that second box and instead getting a useful item like this. I have a few Stasher bags and use them for everything from cosmetics and skincare to snacks and masks.
All totaled my April 2021 Birchbox had a value of approximately $43. Not the highest value, but I loved this month’s “box”.
Did you get Birchbox this month? What you’d get in your box and what’d you think?
