-Good evening! The boys are on Spring Break this week, but B has some out-of-town work stuff going on, so we couldn’t do a big Spring Break trip. Instead, I am thinking about taking the kids somewhere for a few nights and then just doing some fun stuff around town.
-Did you shop the Stoney Clover Lane x Target collaboration this weekend? I woke up at 3am (seriously), placed an online order and then headed to the store to check things out in person after my morning barre class. I was shocked they still had so much stuff left! I guess I was expecting people to start lining up outside before the store opened? I heard things were pretty picked over as the day went on though. I am pretty much obsessed with this collection! Stoney Clover is so expensive, but the Target collaboration pieces are SO similar and the price point is SO much better. In case you missed it, I am doing a giveaway for a few pieces here.
-The home projects around here continue. B has some length travel coming up and possibly has some even lengthier travel after that, so we (he) has been making a point to get this done around the house. I cleaned out the spare bedroom this weekend (it’s basically our catch-all room and was a complete disaster) while B worked on our board and batten accent wall in the bedroom. We had been debating on what to do with the wall behind the bed and were originally thinking maybe wallpaper. A few days ago I changed my mind and decided on the board and batten. I LOVE it. Seriously could not be happier with how it came out. The entire project (buying supplies, painting the wall, cutting & nailing boards, filling spaces, etc.) took two days – with breaks for kid’s soccer games, errands, March Madness and errands.
-That’s it from here. Have a great night!
Your room looks great!
Thank you!!! I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!!
I was so excited to see online the Stoney Clover Lane collaboration, but I was unable to get anything really great that I wanted. I bought a few reusable bags and sand toys for my daughter. They were all out of the pouches and bags that I wanted. I refuse to pay $75 for a packing cube! I will try my luck at the store, but I don’t think there will be anything left.
I think there will be returns soon! Keep checking!!!!!
