The 2023 Trader Joe’s Mystery Packs are in store now. They are $2.99/pack and contain 3 different reusable shopping bags. Bags may come from different areas around the country or specialty bags only available in the pack. You just don’t know until you open them!
In my store the bags were in the little vestibule area by the carts. If you can’t find them, ask at the desk and they should be able to let you know when more are coming to your location. Note – These are only available around the holiday season and are not carried any other time during the year at Trader Joe’s. They actually haven’t had them since pre-Covid (I bought them back in 2018 and 2019) and I am so glad they are back!
I received the following bags in my 2023 Trader Joe’s Mystery Pack:
–Connecticut: What hamburgers have to do with Connecticut I have no idea but I love this bag! The colors are amazing and even the sides and the bottom have fun TJ’s prints and details on them.
–Washington D.C.: I have never been to Washington D.C., but I really want to visit. This bag features some DC landmarks and other things DC is known for. So so cute!
–Colorado: I saved my favorite for last! This Colorado bag shows both summer and winter activities labeled with fun Trader Joe’s names.
These were all new-to-me bags (I have never received them past Mystery Bags) and I am thrilled with them! So worth it! Have you picked up a Trader Joe’s Mystery Pack? What bags did you receive?

Toured a school in CT today with my daughter and the director of admissions said the first hamburger was served at a place in CT (can’t remember the name but it was still there!)
