I loved the first look!  I was happy to see that only one food item was included.

The Information Card

The July 2015 Hammock Pack destination was “Rhode Island” and included the following items:

~Providence Granola Project Beautiful Bar ($2.75): Providence Granola owned and operated by a non-profit organization.  They have an job-training program that onramps newly-arrived refugees into the job market. All proceeds go directly back into these programs.  The bar itself was good too!

~Shore Soap Co. Mermaid Kisses Sugar Scrub ($4.50): This scrub smells amazing!  It’s described as a “seductive fusion of golden amber and musk kissed with a hint of sparkling citrus, lily of the valley and pink jasmine”.  I don’t know that I can pick out any of those scents.  I just know it’s good.

~Shore Soap Company Body Wash (Salty Marnier) ($12): This also smells amazing!  It’s perfectly beachy and is something I would pick up on vacation in a hotel gift shop.  I just love it.

~KalaStyle Sea Salt Soap ($7): I am beginning to believe there will never be a Hammock Pack without soap in it!  I do find it a little odd that they included both a body wash and a bar of soap, but I suppose you could use this as a hand soap?  Regardless it smells good and B will love it.

~Parrott Design Studio Sailboat Card ($5): The quote on here says “We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.” Dolly Parton.  I love it! I think I just want to frame this. Or send it to someone who will frame it and love it just like I do!

All totaled I came up with a value of $31.25 for the July 2015 Hammock Pack. It’s slightly under the cost of the box, but I just loved it.  The picks were great and did make me think of summer in Rhode Island!

What do you think of Hammock Pack?  What city / state would you like to see them do next?  I am still routing for a Detroit box!

I just went on vacation to Newport, RI and I got some of that sugar scrub!! It is awesome, I love it! I’m curious to hear what you think of it!

You might want to check out the DATE on the body wash. It appears to be expired.

      That’s the “Packaged On” date.

That looks like a great box! I’ve looked at Hammock Pack for a long time and when I finally subscribed the boxes weren’t for me, I ended up swapping nearly every item in the box. This one looks awesome.

I have the same problem – I see a Hammock Pack on your website that I like, subscribe, and then the one I get turns out to be a dud. No doubt after seeing this one – which I love – I’d subscribe and it would be another dud. Makes me wish I could buy the box after the fact. I love all things “beach” and those last 3 items are right up my alley.

by the way Jennifer I have to tell you your boys are just about the most adorable kids ever. Besides my own boys, who are 17 and 20 now haha. I just love their big smiles, just saw a pic of WB with his new lamb from Ireland (great box btw!) and it just made my day looking at his happy and sweet smile! Enjoy the days when they are little, they go by so fast!
