~Good evening! Spring Break is over (like SO over because it’s currently snowing) and we are back from our vacation. I didn’t mention it (I figured it probably wasn’t a good idea to post we’d be out of town for a week), but we went on a Disney cruise!  I had lots of posts scheduled in advance and then I got on the internet here and there (the ship internet was surprisingly fast) to post whatever else was happening with subscription boxes. The kids had a ball and the rest of us did too!  SO fun!

~A few things I have been loving lately: 1. Bare Republic Kids Mineral Sunscreen Spray. This stuff is 100% natural, chemical-free and smells fantastic.  And it works!  I will say that it’s a little harder to rub in than most other sunscreens I have used, but it’s not a huge deal for me. 2. Reading!  I got a few books finished up on our trip and I think I had forgotten how much I enjoyed just sitting and reading. 3. Towel Art. Our Room Stewart (his name was William too!) was a towel art master.  I should have went to the towel animal folding demonstration they had on the ship to get some tips.  Amazing.

~The MTV Movie Awards are on tonight!  I don’t think I have watched the live (is it even live anymore?) version in years, but I am going to DVR.  They are always entertaining and I have actually watched most of the movies and know most of the stars (unlike at the Oscars) they give awards to!

That’s it from here!  Hope you had a great weekend!

Yay for cruises! We’re going on one in October and I. Cannot. Wait. Longest six months ever! 🙂

Eeek!!!!! SO fun!! Where are you headed??

We leave from Galveston and head to Cozumel, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman. It’s Royal Carribean, I couldn’t sucker my husband into a Disney cruise… Galveston is only an hour from our house, but we would have to fly to Florida for Disney since they don’t sail from Galveston very often. I am so ready, it’s going to be a long summer! So glad y’all had fun!

So fun. I went on the Carnival Breeze when it was out of Miami and it was awesome. It is huge and had some neat features I’ve not seen on a Carnival cruise. If you are looking for another non-Disney one to take. 🙂

That’s the one my parents are going on a couple weeks after we go on ours! They’re really excited, they’re going for their 30th anniversary!

It is huge but we had a great time. I’m guessing since it was your parents they won’t be going on the ropes course but that was fun and then they have a BBQ area on sea days down on deck 5 I think. It was a different layout for a ship since they have a full deck down there with hot tubs and all. It was great to go down there and relax without being out on the pool deck.

I’m glad to hear the Breeze is nice. I bought a cruise for my parents and brother for Christmas this year and my husband and I are going with them. My parents wanted to take a ship out of Galveston and that was the newest one out of there.

Jealous of the Disney cruise though. Would love to do that! Did the ncl Epic a couple years ago out of Miami and loved it.

It took us three cruises, but we made it! My parents (and brother and SIL) were on the cruise with us so we were able to get over there for about an hour. It’s really neat. There is a sandbar you can swim / walk out too!
