The January 2017 Loot Crate theme was “ORIGINS” and included the following items:
~Exclusive Original “Jumpman” T-Shirt: I love this shirt! I think it may be my favorite shirt we’ve ever received from Loot Crate. I’m not much of a gamer, but I do love me some Super Mario (previously known as “Jumpman”). It’s a men’s large, so it’s a little roomy, but I don’t care!
~Exclusive Captain America Golden Age Shield: This metal replica shield features scaled straps on the back and includes a display stand. My 8-year-old has a superhero themed room, and this will fit in great. The information booklet also included a chart showing the many shields of Captain America over the years which we thought was neat.
~Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tiki Muglets: They call this a “muglet,” but I’d call it a shot glass. LOL. I don’t know what else you’d do with a mini-Tiki mug? I received Donatello, which according to the Horoscope from the booklet, means this will be the year to take a new class and expand my mind. Good to know!
~Exclusive Action Comic #1 Reprint: This reprint was printed on the original newsprint stock with the original ads and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. I didn’t realize it, but Superman originally started out as a villain all the way back in 1933!
~The Box: This month’s box transformed into a magazine (or comic book) holder! I love when the boxes can be used for something else. Loot Crate boxes are sturdy, so this should last a while.
