Toy Storage Organization

Oh, the toys. I am sure I am not the only one out there overwhelmed with toys taking over the living room. When the toys are not in use, I like to keep them organized and not spread all over the room. After Christmas, I decided to pick up a simple two shelf bookcase at Target to try and organize. I didn’t want to get a toy box because I wanted to be able to see what was in there and I didn’t want it to become stuffed with toys that never got used. I am pretty pleased with the results and this will easily allow us to switch up toys and I will know exactly what is being played with and what is not. I plan to get even more organized in 2010, so stay tuned!

It looks great! We have a little shelf and a tote we put toys in at night. I have given up on keeping our living room a kid free zone. I wish we had a den.

You are so organized! Not gonna lie, I totally bought a toy box the other day. I couldn't take it LOL. I am going to put the BIG stuff in their and keep all the little toys on my target shelf still. Right now, the play room looks like an explosion!!
