This week I am sharing some of my favorite websites. I’m not even putting Facebook on here since I have made it pretty clear just how much I enjoy FB. So here are the rest of my favorite sites:
Online-Sweepstakes: I enter all my contests / sweepstakes through this site. I love the way it organizes contests (1x entry, daily entry, weekly entry, etc.) and tracks them for me by category. As you can tell, I take my sweepstakes pretty seriously. I would recommend buying the Premium membership ($30/year) on there if you are interesting in “sweeping”. Sure, you can find them all other places for free, but this is much much easier!
SlickDeals: I think this is the best place on the internet to find a deal. If there is a price mistake, amazing coupon code, etc., it will be on SlickDeals within 5 minutes! I also love the Target thread on there because it’s nice to be in a place that shares my love of their clearance sales.
Etsy: If you’ve never used Etsy, I’d describe it as Ebay for crafts. Half the time I don’t even know what I want when I go to Etsy. I just want to shop! This might explain why I own a moss covered letter which I am not sure where to put? Luckily, most items on Etsy are fairly inexpensive.
WebMD: Ahh, good old WedMD. It makes self-diagnosing so easy! Doctors LOVE when you come in and go, well, I read on the internet that….. LOL. But seriously, I use it often. And sometimes for useful things (i.e. to learn that a broken blood vessel in the eye is rarely serious). And sometimes for not so useful things. I can search for foot pain and end up thinking I have gangrene. My husband is working on blocking WebMD from my laptop.
Wikipedia: So the other day one of my friend’s daughters was posting on FB about “Rebecca Black“. Feeling old and out of touch, I googled her name and ended up on Wikipedia, which nicely explained to me that I was not missing out on anything good. Speaking of google, I am pretty addicted to google too. I google some crazy stuff (doesn’t everyone) and wonder what the tracking device at google thinks of me. Just a tip, do NOT google “FratPad” at work. It was the “show” that Dustin from the Real World Las Vegas was on in his past. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Of course, I heard it on the show and had to google ASAP. I suspect I was not the only one…
What websites am I missing out on?? What are your favorites???
HAHAHAHA Your description of WebMD is hilarious!! This is SO me!
Hey – WebMD convinced me to go to the ER when I was having an appendix attack. Yes, I used WebMD at 4 am instead of just going to the ER first. It helped though!
