Patriotic / 4th of July Decorations

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

I have never really decorated for 4th of July before, but this year I am all over it. I guess I am just feeling very patriotic this year with the Games coming up (which I am SO excited for)? Whatever it is, I am loving the red, white and blue.

The banners / garland I ordered from All My Country Cottage Signs arrived today and I am SO in love. I couldn’t have asked for more. I ordered both the “Happy 4th of July” and the “Freedom” ones from there. I’m not sure if you can tell from the picture, but they are made of wood, not paper. How awesome is that? I will have them forever. I think you’ve seen most of the rest of my decorations on my blog, but if you need more details, check out details on the DIY wreath, the topiaries, and the apothecary jars. As for the feather tree, I bought that at an after Christmas clearance sale at Pier One and pretty much decorate it for every holiday. I used (fake) flowers on it and attached them with floral wire for this holiday. I could have used star ornaments or red, white and blue ball ornaments, but I needed to stick with dark colors because of what I used in the jars. And the flowers were super cheap!

Any other questions, just ask!  And I have to ask you, have you decorated for the 4th of July?  Let’s hear about it!

Spread the love
