Favorite handbag you’ve ever owned

For sure this has to be my current bag (a Jimmy Choo). Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d own a bag like this. It’s insane. Calfskin with suede interior. So beautiful. And so something I would never ever ever buy for myself. So how did I get it? Well, I won it of course! And I know you are going to ask how. It was from an eonline summer sweepstakes. It was actually an instant win game (I never won), but a few weeks after it ended, I got an e-mail saying that the instant winner was disqualified for whatever reason and my name was selected as the winner. I almost fell over.

Dream handbag you lust over

A Birkin of course. Is there anything else as fabulous? I think not. I may never ever get to own my own Birkin, but I I’m okay with that. Because really, where would I take my Birkin anyways? To Target? Maybe to the grocery store? I mean I would if I had one, but it seems like a bag that deserves more than what I can give it. However, it anyone wants to send me one, I would prefer a black (your choice of hide) 30cm with gold hardware. Although, I’d take whatever.

Daily essentials in your purse or work bag
My only real “essentials” are my iPhone, Kiehls #1 Lip Balm, wallet and sunglasses. The rest I can do without. Now these are just my essentials. W of course needs a lot more. L is a light traveler and just needs me to carry his sunglasses every once in a while. While I carry a TON more, I could do without it all. Oh wait, I’d need my keys too.

What’s in your purse(with pictures)

This is such an old picture. It’s from a blog post I did last year about what’s in my bag. I usually just carry a diaper bag these days (it’s just easier), which includes diapers, wipes, lotion, diaper cream, hand sanitizer, change of clothes for W, snacks for L, a bottle / formula / bottled water for W, etc.  When I carry my Choo, it pretty much has the same random crap as above.  Sometimes I have a book or my iPad (or L’s) in there if I / we have a doctors appointment or some other chore that will have a lot of downtime.
