October Birchbox Man Review

October Birchbox Man

Today was B’s lucky(*) day because his October Birchbox Man box arrived! I still haven’t figured out if men’s Birchbox has monthly themes like the woman’s ones do? The card this month said:

“Perfection is not attainable,” said the great Vince Lombardi. “But if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” Keep you running your regular routes and doing your usual reps, but be sure to mix it up in this pursuit. Don a tie on a Wednesday. Shake up something new behind the bar. This month, let’s keep them guessing.

I’ll let you decide what theme that is??

In case anyone is keeping track, B got Box 9 this month. Here’s what was inside:

The information card.

The full box:

And the details:

~Oribe Creme for Style ($34): B loved the Oribe shampoo and conditioner that he received in a previous Birchbox, so I know he will love this. And he’s got this insane head of hair that grows SO FAST. And sometimes it needs to be tamed.

Oribe: Creme for Style

~The Art of Shaving Unscented Pre-Shave Oil ($25): I don’t think B has ever used a pre-shave treatment before. Ever. But I know he’ll be willing to give it a try.

The Art of Shaving: Unscented Pre-Shave Oil

~Borghese Creme Saponetta Cleansing Creme ($33.50): Well that’s a long name now isn’t it? I have tried this brand before and really liked it and I am pretty sure B will feel the same way.

Borghese” Creme Saponetta Cleansing Creme

~Cartier Declaration ($75): This smells amazing. I love it. And you know what I really love? That this is only (only ha,ha) $75 for a bottle as compared to the Costume National which he got the last two months in a row and LOVED. This may be a Christmas list item!

Cartier: Declaration

~Birchbox Man Jigger ($7): Jigger what?  Sorry, I couldn’t resist.  Who doesn’t want bar accessories?  Can you really go wrong by pouring the perfect drink?  I think not.

Birchbox Jigger

~Teroforma Whisky Stones ($20):  Okay, I have always wanted to get B whiskey stones so Birchbox pretty much robbed me of a stocking stuffer idea.  LOL.  You don’t need to drink whiskey to use them. Any cold drink will do.  They will keep it perfectly chilled without diluting it.

Teroforma Whiskey Stones

~Caskers Gift Card ($10): Never heard of this shop before, but heck we’ll check it out and see if there is anything that makes us thirsty ;).

Caskers Gift Card

The verdict?  Another great box for sure.  Birchbox Man is $20/month (as compared to $10/month for the woman’s box).  B got six products, so that’s 60 points (i.e. $6) after he reviews them, so really the box only cost $14.  Did he get $14 worth of product?  For sure he did!!  Want to subscribe, click here and get on the list.  I think Birchbox Man only takes a week or so to get an invite.  That’s what I heard anyways.  The sooner you sign up though, the better.

(*) I was hoping that today would be MY lucky day and my PopSugar Must Have box would finally arrive today, but so such luck ;(.

Disclosure: Come on, of course there are affiliate links here. You click and they show me the money. Something like that anyways.

Spread the love

I put my name on the list through your site a week or so ago and my invite came while I was at WDW. I just signed my husband up for his first subscription box. Why should he be missing out on all the fun. 🙂 He too is a product man. He loves to try new things so I know he will love this one.

I love the PopSugar Box. Wowsers and I got it with the 50% code you posted awhile ago so even better. I already divided out what I wouldn’t eat. LOL my mother in law got the sweet potatoe chips and my husband got the caramels. The rest is in my stash. 🙂

Now i’m going to have to go find somewhere to smell that Cartier cologne! On the plus side Sephora sells it and I think their F&F is coming up on the 18th so you can save a little more!

Hi I was wondering if you know if this company or any company sends to an APO address in Afghanistan? ;/ I feel like these would be awesome random packages (gifts) to get while over there 🙂 thanks!

I am not 100% sure on this and couldn’t find it online. They are super responsive on Facebook and would answer quickly I would bet!
