Every once in a while Wittlebee has “Flash Sales” for various items they have extra of or whatever. They recently had a flash sale for Halloween costumes (the brand was Le Top) and since I am totally addicted to Halloween costumes, I knew I wanted to try for one. They posted about it at a certain time on their Facebook wall and if you wanted one, you had to write “SOLD” followed by the size you wanted. They said they only had 50 available at $12/each (plus $2.95 shipping & handling), so odds of getting one didn’t seen good.
I saw the post a few minutes after it went up and was not one of the first 50. But I threw my info up anyways. Just in case. And guess what? I got one! I was SO excited. I am guessing not a lot of the first 50 wanted the size I did. Who knows. Who cares?
When the bag arrived yesterday, I tore right into it. Oh wait, did I mention you didn’t know what costume you would be getting? Clearly I like to live on the edge. I had seen the giraffe on their FB page and was super excited that was the one I got! And WB, well WB LOVED it. He started giggling the minute I put it on him. Now I just need to decide what Halloween event he is wearing this to!
I put my <Wittlebee subscription on hold last month and plan to only get boxes every 2-3 months now (WB has SO.MANY.CLOTHES), but I am for sure getting in on these flash sales whenever I can! Thank you Wittlebee!
Love this costume. I put mine on hold too. I was thinking maybe every other month or so too. Its a hard season here right now since its short sleeve and pants or still shorts some days. I loved my first box though and can’t wait to get another one down the road.
