It’s here!

To my excitement, my October Citrus Lane box arrived today! Sometimes I get my boxes early (Citrus Lane) and sometimes I get them after everyone else has gotten theirs (Birchbox). My mailbox was jam packed today, so stay tuned for lots of reviews.

This month’s Citrus Lane theme was “Fall Fun” and I have to say, I liked this box much better than last month’s box!

First Look!

Here’s what was inside:

The information card.

Munchkin Soft Shaker ($6.49): WB is all into grabbing things and shaking them and pretty much just shoving whatever he can in his mouth, so I know he will love this. In fact, I cannot wait till he wakes up from his nap to show him this. Oh wait, yes I can wait for him to wake up ;).

Little Taggies by Taggies ($9.99): L was obsessed with taggies products when he was younger and we actually have this blanket(*) in a different pattern. However, when I give it to WB, guess who wants to play with it? Yep, L. So I am super excited to see this in the box! And I am excited that it’s a different pattern.

Little Spider from Chronicle Books ($6.95): We love books here and I don’t think you can ever go wrong getting a new book. Ever. We actually don’t own this book (which is crazy since we own every other Halloween book out there), so I am thrilled with this! We are going to make it tonight’s bedtime book!

BabyGanics Healin’ Groovy ($7.99): I’ve never used anything from the BabyGanics line, so I am anxious to see how it stacks up against my beloved Healing Balm from The Honest Company.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Mini ($4.99): You’ll never believe it, but I am on this crazy skincare bender. I have washed my face every day and night for almost two weeks now. I know, crazy right? I used to be scared of stuff like this because I thought it was going to make it break out. But I have realized that not moisturizing and washing my face is actually worse for me.

I am totally thrilled with this box.  I will use every single product in it and everything is a perfect fit for our family.  The contents of the box totaled $36.41 this much, which is clearly more than the $25 this box costs each month.

October Citrus Lane Box (5 Month-Old)

If you haven’t signed up yet, get with it and click here. Oh, in case you are new here, I should mention that this box is for my 5-month old.  Citrus Lane customizes boxes based on your baby’s age (up to age 3 I believe).  So your two year old will get different items than my 5 month-old, which makes perfect sense.  My friend (the famous W) sent me a picture of what her 14 month-old got this month.  Totally different than my sons box!

(*) We refer to this as the “triangle blanket”. Taggies also makes little soft triangles and every taggies product we own is now referred to triangle something or other. The original triangle. Triangle blanket. Triangle ball. Make sense? I didn’t think so.

I got my tracking email but no useful info yet. I can’t wait to see what I get for my little guy this month. I did sneak a peak and I’m optomistic for things that I hope are in our box.
