As you know, I try not to do a lot of reviews (because honestly, I find them boring), but when I was asked to do a review of Picasound, a new iPhone app, I couldn’t resist. Picasound was created by a few regular dads, not your typical full-time web developers. It was designed to help you get smiles and make it easier to take great pictures of your kids! It has 48 “sounds” broken up into 5 categories. You open the app, pick a sound (we obviously prefer the Train one ;)), hold down the camera button to play the sound until you get your kids to look at the camera and / or smile, and when you let go of the button, it snaps a picture!

We’ve been trying it out the last few days and it totally works.  Let me tell you, it’s a million times better than what we used to do (i.e. scream and jump up and down to get their attention)!  It’s $1.99 and you can get it in the iTunes store for your iPhone and / or iPod.  Want to learn more about Picasound or buy it?  Click here!  And if you already have this app, what do you think?

Disclosure: I was asked by the dads over at Picasound to do a review of their app. In exchange I was provided with the app for free. No compensation was received and AS ALWAYS, all opinions are my own!
