My box withdrawals are over because I received my March Julep Maven box yesterday! I was seriously having anxiety issues over here.
I opted for the “It Girl” box this month, mainly because it had 3 polishes in it. In case you are new to Julep, you can see all the different box options before making a selection, so it’s a sure bet you will love your box. Or, if you aren’t a fan of any of them, you can skip that month.
I love the way Julep packages their boxes. The little envelopes the polishes are in always match with the colors of month! Super cute.
This month’s Julep theme was “Get Ready to Play” and included a little card with the quote “Without play, life just doesn’t taste good”. Totally true.
Here’s what the March “It Girl” box included:
~Teri – It Girl ($14): Teri is a tropical coral pink crème and is so pretty. It’s perfect for Spring and it reminds me of Easter eggs. All these colors do actually. Too bad I can’t wear flip-flops while hunting for eggs so I can show this color off!
~Shenea – It Girl ($14): Shenea is a pastel mint green opalescent shimmer and night just be my favorite color in the box. Wait it just occurred to me why I like these last two colors so much. They match my blog. Pretty sure I love them even more right now!
~Simone – Classic With A Twist ($14): Simone is a soft pastel lilac opalescent shimmer and is a total Easter egg color. I don’t *think* I have any colors like this in my nail polish collection which makes me even more excited to try it. And anything with shimmer or glitter makes me a fan!
~Julep Strawberry Mint Lip Balm ($5): They don’t sell this in the store right now, so I am not sure how to value it. But I’d pay $5 for it. It smells yummy, goes on smooth and it s a very pretty pink color.
All totaled, my March Julep Maven It Girl Box had a value of $47. Umm, pretty sweet since I only paid $19.99!

Just ordered my first box! It is so nice as a mom to be able to treat yourself sometimes! Thank you! 🙂
Love the colors! All very Spring-like and pretty. I skipped my box this month as I still haven’t tried all the colors I received in my mystery box! Maybe I could just paint each nail a different color? lol
Right now my nails are painted Shenae with Essie’s “Shine of the Times” glitter top coat. It totally looks like an Easter egg. Love it!
I kept going back and forth and I ended up opting out this month and now I am totally regretting it! Is there any way I can still get this box?
I opted for the box with the lotion and exfoliator this month, I have been trying to find something to help me with my dry hands and thought why not? The lotion isn’t as thick as I hoped it would be but the exfoliator leaves my hands soft and nice.
Ooooh! I am sucker for pretty packaging! And, for nail polish too. I almost feel naked without a little color on my nails 🙂
I am so excited to get my box! I got the email that it shipped out yesterday…I actually got my box 50% off and with 2 extra free nail polishes with a code they gave me “FREEGIFT” I’m not sure if it’ll work for everyone but it was definitely amazing.
I just joined using your referral! I love looking at all your reviews! :). I got my son a couple boxes and my husband Mantry. This is the first for me so I am excited!
I think I’ve decided I’m going to do Julep for my first subscription box. My birthday is in May so I think that’s what I’ll be getting from hubby. 😉
what do u think about the formulation of the polish? i opted for the same box and love the color. but the formulation make me so frustrated.
Thanks so much for the codes! I just ordered my first box and cannot wait to get it 🙂
