Carefree Crafts ships in a padded envelope and comes via USPS.  And it came FAST, which I always love!

Since it comes in an envelope, first looks are always hard.  Luckily, everything came neatly packed in a clear plastic pouch so I could get a good shot!

The April Carefree Crafts theme was “Welcome Spring” and includes a brief description of all the projects that are included, as well as, some Spring “talking points” and other fun Spring ideas!  I had planned to wait until L and I got a chance to do some of these projects together, but I’m not 100% sure when we will get to them all and I want to make sure you can all take advantage of the special offer, so I thought it be best for me to get my post up ASAP!

~Paper Plate Spring Bird’s Nest Craft: This kit includes everything you need to build an adorable spring bird’s nest with a paper plate.  I know L is going to be totally into this and I can also tell you that our nest will look NOTHING like the picture.  I am pretty sure I could never be a preschool teacher because I would have an overwhelming urge to make all their projects perfect!

~April Showers Bring May Flowers Sign Craft Kit: OMG this could not be more perfect.  It’s been raining here (like non-stop rain) and I told L on the way to school yesterday “April showers bring May flowers” and he thinks it’s the funniest thing ever and has repeated it no less than 100 times since then.

~Spring Sand Art: We love a good messy project and anything that involves sand will for sure make a good mess!  The information card shows a rainbow which L would have loved, but we got frogs, which is cute too.  But back to the rainbow for a minute.  The number of conversations L and I have had about the order of a rainbow is unreal.  Seriously.  I haven’t opened this project yet, but the board has sticky parts that the sand is supposed to stick too.  How cool!

~Bug Jar Craft Kit: I think L is going to love decorating this and I am sure that he’s going to collect a ton of bugs in it!  We may need to drill some holes in the top of this though because yeah, L’s going to want to save them once we catches them and they won’t last too long in a closed up jar if you know what I mean.

~Flower Bouquet Craft Kit: I’m kinda hoping that L will make me this flower bouquet.  I am certain he’s not going to give it to any of the little girls he goes to school with since he says that they “chase him” around the gym ;).  Umm, pretty sure that’s going to be what happens for the next couple of years L, so get used to it!

I think L and I are really going to enjoy our April Carefree Crafts kit!  The projects are simple and don’t require a lot of time to complete, which is good.  Kids lose interest so fast and you gotta be ready to move on to the next activity in a snap!  Sure you could buy these kits yourself, but Carefree Crafts wants to save you the trouble.  They know you are busy and need to have something on hand when the crafting mood (or you run out of other things to do) strikes!
