It’s So What Wednesday over at Life After I Dew and I’m linking up! This week I am saying SO WHAT if….
~I didn’t sign up for L’s conferences. I mean it’s preschool. I know what he’s up too all day.
~I wasn’t planning on really getting WB anything for his birthday until L started telling WB about his birthday and how he will get presents and all that. And now I feel like I gotta do something….
~I am jealous of people who live so close to a Whole Foods and / or a Trader Joe’s. Ours are SO far. Okay 30 minutes but that’s too much.
~I feel so uncomfortable watching all these dating shows. Last night’s Ready For Love made me feel so awkward and I am not even on the sho.
~I get annoyed when people don’t respond to my Candy Crush requests ASAP. People, I have candy to crush and time to do it, let’s pay attention here!
~I feel better when I don’t suck down 10 diet pepsi’s a day, yet oddly, I miss them.
~I’m way too excited about going to Costco today.
~I’m oddly excited about going to get running shoes (*). Maybe I am just excited about getting new shoes.
That’s it from here. What are you saying so what to this week?
I agree with the candy crush statement!
How about wrapping up some mac & cheese boxes for WB to unwrap? He’s young enough to just enjoy tearing open the gifts, so don’t stress yourself out with picking out the perfect presents! 🙂
We went to one of those running stores last year (used a Groupon of course because everything at those stores costs more than my paycheck). It was really cool getting our strides analyzed. It was more about how we put our feet down (toe to heel or heel first..). You’re back lower half will probably be on camera so make sure to shave and wear cute socks!
They Call Me Gypsy Queen
I always get excited to get new running/gym shoes and I hate working out!!! There’s just something about new shoes, it really is a girl thing.
Happy Wednesday!
I haven’t given in and started playing Candy Crush yet!
I am in need of some new running shoes too. I heart shopping for shoes! Have fun.
I use to be a serious Diet Coke addict. It’s been a year since I quit it cold turkey. Some days I miss it, but really glad I don’t drink it anymore.
So I’m not the only one with a diet Pepsi problem. I think there is definitely an addictive additive somewhere in there. I feel slight withdrawal when I “ween” myself off of diet soda. LOL
Good Morning! I enjoy your blog, so I nominated it for the Liebster Award!
Check out the post about it on my blog for more details

Also, it is totally worth it to have them analyze your stride. Getting the right shoes for the way I move meant the end of shin splints for me! Hope you have fun!

Curse you Candy Crush level 33! Anyways, we didn’t go nuts for Owen’s birthday this year because he gets so much from our families. We only got him two small gifts – a set of Green Toys lego-type blocks and a stackable block set that looks like little houses and has little animals that live in each one. Nothing big or too expensive. I think together they were about $30. Or you can just wrap up his Citrus Lane box when it comes. New workout clothes and tennis shoes are great! They make me want to work out for oh, about three days or so. 🙂
I have Whole Foods & Trader Joe’s about 15 minutes away…and they are across the street from each other (yay industrialization & commercialization!). But I have other supermarkets closer so when I usually need to run in & grab food quick I go to King Kullen. The traffic around where I like is insane so sometimes a 15 minute drive turns into a horrible drive …
Oh gosh — candy crush. I am sitting on pins and needles because Ive sent out a bunch of requests for a “ticket” to get to the next “chapter” or whatever, now that I finished level 50. And NO ONE IS RESPONDING! So annoying! I wish we had a Trader Joes within a half hour. I drive a half hour every week to get groceries on base because I refuse to pay the prices that the local grocery stores charge for … well, for EVERYTHING!
I only saw the second half of Ready to Love but to me, Rachel seemed a little cray at the end when she went all soulmate on Ben. Some of these girls are a little too much…but I understand what you mean by feeling awkward.
I’m saying so what if I don’t know you but I’m SUPER excited that you are kicking the Diet Coke habit! 😉
I’m not a soapbox kind of girl, but this is one thing I feel really strongly about. I’m certain that my crazy extreme DC habit was a contributing factor in my cancer diagnosis. Do I think everyone who drinks it will get Cancer? No. Do I think everyone who quits drinking it will be healthier? Yes. 😀
Do I still have moments where I’m Jonesing for one…also yes, which is crazy/scary.
We don’t even have TJs or Whole Foods anywhere near us, so you are lucky with that!
Also, when John isn’t home, I play Candy Crush on my iPad and keep his next to me so I can keep sending myself lives when I run out. I have issues. That is also the last thing we do before we go to sleep. We lay in bed next to each other playing candy crush and sending each other lives. How romantic.
The couple that crushes candy together stays together?
So What if…..
-I get a smile on my face and can’t find the words to say when I talk about subscription boxes I receive
-I too am jealous of people that live close to Whole Foods
-I enjoy watching Criminal Minds, ID channel (my husband calls it the channel where wives are always killing their husbands) , Revenge and The Following.
-I have given up running and tedious cardio workouts for pilates and yoga.
That is my So What Wednesday thoughts.
