Ellie Fit Fashionista Club is a monthly activewear subscription service. For $49.95/month you can choose two tops, two bottoms or a top and a bottom and the price is always the same. You are able to select from their current line or if you don’t feel like picking, they’ll select pieces for you. Or if you don’t see anything you like or just don’t need / want anything, you can skip that month! I saw a lot of blog reviews on Ellie back when they changed from pv.body to ellie, but I haven’t seen any recently, so I couldn’t wait to check it out.
I saw this in my mailbox yesterday, but had no idea what it was. In fact, I read the label and still couldn’t figure it out. It seriously pained me to take a picture of this because I wanted to rip into it SO BAD.
Once I took it out of the package, I totally knew it the Ellie Fit Fashionista Club items and was even more excited to check it out! I’ve made no secret of my lululemon addiction on here, but the price, yeah, I’m not addicted to that!
Since you (unless you want Ellie to do it instead) select the pieces you get, there isn’t an information card. You know what you ordered so you don’t really need a card telling you about it. Here are the pieces I selected:
~Little Black Capri (non-member price: $44.95): I picked plain black capris because I felt like i could get the most use out of them. The minute I opened the package I as like, umm, are these for a doll? They looked SO small. But I am pleased to report that they are super duper stretchy. And they don’t turn see through when you bend over in them. I checked. ;). I found the quality to be right up there with lulu (don’t think I don’t have a pair of lulu crops because I do) and was very impressed!
~Wish Upon A Star Tank (non-member price: $54.95): I can’t even tell you the last time I wore just a tank to work out in, but I picked this because I like to layer. Plus, maybe in a few months (or more) I’ll be able to rock this during a 5K? Never say never. I found the fit to be true to size and the fabric was actually thicker than I was expecting. And it’s on the longer side, which I love!
For $49.95/month, I think the Ellie Fit Fashionista Club is a steal! Two similar lulu items would have set me back easily $150. Seriously. I won’t be giving them up for good, but I will for sure cut back! I am thinking about subscribing to this after the Challenge is over as a reward (if I do well of course). Getting a cute new workout outfit in the mail might be a little motivation towards getting my butt on the treadmill. And if I slack that month? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ellie! I belong to the fit fashionista club and have not gotten anything I do not like. The products are top notch and fit so true to size. Be sure to order early when a new collection comes out as they do tend to run out of stuff quickly. I run and workout at the gym/with a trainer every day, so my workout wear is already extensive, but who wants to be seen in the same outfit at the gym?!?! New pieces are essential!!
Ok those are cute!! I totally agree…as much as I LOVE me some lulu, you are right, it would still be a minimum of $110 for 2 pieces (like crops and a tank.) I may have to check this out at some point! Oh and yea one of my lulu crops SNAGGED in a few spots after wearing them to the park…um no not for $78!
I’m with you – I LOVE me some Lulu but I despise the cost of it. All the Ellie pieces I have are super cute and I was shocked how good the quality is. Love Ellie. 🙂
The prices… are ridiculously amazing. I have been SO JEALOUS of other women’s workout gear during pilates or at the gym. But something always pained me about spending more than $30 for workout pants. (I’d rather buy regular clothes). I just got two pairs of $74 pants for under $50! Hello! Thats like $100 off!!!!!!! And with a 20% first time user coupon, so it was even cheaper!! I’m seriously considering signing up with my boyfriend’s email or something so that I can get two more items at that cheap price, without having to wait whole month. I want EVERYTHING on that site, and seriously the prices are a steal for the quality.
