1. What is your favorite fall activity?
The cider mill! Hands down the cider mill. Those warm donuts and cold cider. OMG, so good. And apples picked at the cider mill are even better. I cannot leave a cider mill without buying some apples. I just can’t.
2. Do you follow a football team? If so, which one and why?
Michigan State!!! I went to college there, so how could I not follow and cheer for them? Their games make me super nervous (always have, always will), but I still watch. I can’t not watch my Spartans!
3. What is something fun about fall in your area?
Hmm, I think it’s a combination of everything. College football (we have two big universities fairly close to Metro Detroit – MSU & UM), the Lions, post-season baseball (fingers crossed), the leaves changing color / falling, it’s just all fabulous.
4. What are your favorite fall staple outfits?
A black cardigan / hoodie which is really my staple all the time. It’s been freezing in the morning lately and takes a while to warm up, so have to make sure I have something with me at all times just in case it’s still cold out.
5. What things are his looking forward to most about this coming fall season?
So many things! First of all we are taking a family vacation to Las Vegas which I am pumped about and then B and I are going to Chicago (ALL ALONE) for a night! Just B and I. All alone. I don’t think we’ve had a night away in years. I’m looking forward to it. And the fact that it’s in Chicago makes it even better.
6. What is your favorite fall holiday? Tradition?
Halloween! We don’t have any real traditions, but on Halloween we all go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood and that’s always fun. We do tons of Halloween related activities / parties too, so we always have that to look forward to. That reminds me, I should be looking into booking some of that. It books up fast!
What are some Halloween things that you do that book up fast? I think Alessio might understand it now that’s he’s 3 but its new to to me 🙂 I think for sure I’m gonna sign up for zoo boo but other than that, I have no idea.
Now that I live in Florida I totally miss the cider mill. Nothing beats a cider mill donut. They do a cute pumpkin patch here but they have to ship all the pumpkins in, plus it’s like 85 degrees. Just not the same.
I’m excited for fall too! I hope it starts soon but we might still have a few more weeks of summer. The cider mill sounds so fun, I will have to check and see if we have something like that down here.
You forgot the best part of fall; hockey seasons starts!!! But you live in the vicinity of my number 1 most hated team so I will forgive you if you’re not a hockey fan. 😉

6. Halloween. My favorite holiday of all. I do a daily countdown on my blog with Halloween stuff, I cook Halloween food. Tradition is to go over to the Godkids house and go trick or treating with them. We have Spaghetti Tacos for dinner. Alas, the kids are almost too old to Trick or Treat anymore 🙁
