What I'm Loving Wednesday.jpg
I’ve been feeling kinda silly “linking-up” with this kind of love for What I’m Loving Wednesday because she hasn’t posted in months ;(. I do love the post though, so I decided to make my own button for it and if she comes back I’ll ditch it and link back up with her and if she doesn’t, I’ll continue to use it and maybe even make it a link-up of my own.

Mini Shopping Carts
Mini Shopping Carts

Mini Shopping Carts.  We went to Trader Joe’s yesterday and L was over the moon about having his own shopping cart.  I left it up to him if he wanted to go after school or if he wanted WB and I to just go one day while he was at school.  And once he remembered TJ’s had shopping carts he was all over that.  He was so careful about putting everything in his cart and even insisted we get flowers (I think he just thought those flower things for the side of the cart were cool).  He melts my heart.

Garbage Bag Roll Holder.  Who though of this genius? Seriously.  Why didn’t I ever think of this?  I am putting these on our (well B’s) “To-Do” list ASAP.  I keep them in the box they come in and it’s kind of a pain and they take up space.  This is going to be better!

Holiday Diapers
Holiday Diapers

Holiday Diapers.   I am a sucker for fun diaper prints (which may explain why I keep buying Honest Co. diapers) so when I saw these at Target I was sold.  Seriously how adorable are these?  Sadly WB knows how to take off his diaper or I’d let him run around in just a diaper all the time!

I’m Loving…..

Holiday Activities.  OMG, I don’t know how it is where you live, but we have so many holiday activities I want to do this year it’s unreal.  Detroit Zoo Wild Lights.  Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village.  Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic.  Wayne County Light Fest.  So so so many great events!  I cannot wait.  And please let it snow for all this!

Kisses
Kisses

Kisses!  Ahhh, these two kill me.  Every night L will tell WB to give him kisses before bedtime and WB comes running to find L and this happens.  I die.

Felt Tree
Felt Tree

Felt Tree. Another genius Pinterest idea.  Hang a felt tree and then cut out some felt ornaments and let the kids decorate and undecorate their own tree whenever they want.  I think this would be the perfect addition to the playroom for the holidays.  The boys need their own tree!

The X Factor
The X Factor

This Guy.  This popped into my Facebook feed yesterday and I something told me to watch.  And I am so glad I did.  The fact that he was so nervous and shaking and then just belted out with this amazing voice.  I hope he wins it all.

That’s it from here.  What are you loving this week?

Did you see the felt tree at target? It was in the seasonal aisle with the party goods and crafts and was $10. I’d probably pay that in supplies at the craft store.

    1. Jennifer

OMG no! I need to find that!

With a 50% off one item coupon at Joann’s, I was able to get all of my supplies for a felt tree for $2.78. And then I had to pay $3.99 to get the 3M velcro strips to hang it up, LOL

Ohh, I like the sounds of this!!!

My friend told me she only used a half yard of felt even though she bought a whole yard…but I found that with the way it is on the bolt you need a whole yard or else you’ll have to sew two pieces together like I did to make it large enough. So, possibly more expensive, or else possibly more work that you bargained for 🙂

That photo of L and WB kissing needs to be a photo that they remake when they are older! I love that trend…I need to find some photos I can retake with my brother.

Aren’t they the sweetest??? I would die if they ever recreated pictures for me. That would be so amazing.

Those mini shopping carts are the best! I let my daughter use one at Whole Foods and I think it was the easiest shopping trip we’ve ever had!

    1. Jennifer

      They need them everywhere.

  3. Lindsay

I had to get those diapers too! They are so cute!

I agree with you on all the holiday activities around here. I love Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village…that’s my favorite!

  5. Sara

I wish more parents with young kids shopped at my store, I would totally try and convince the store manager to get some of those carts!

    1. Jennifer

Maybe if you get the carts they will come!

  6. Margaret

Need that garbage bag roll holder now! And just because you all want a felt tree I think I need one!

    1. Jennifer

Ha! I want to go to Target tomorrow and get this pre made felt tree everyone is talking about!

  7. Ashley C.

I love watching sibling relationships grow and blossom! And that felt tree is pretty awesome! I saw something similar, only made out of cardboard and the kids can just color it. I seriously think our playroom needs SOMETHING like this!

I just bought the kit from target today! I’m testing it out this afternoon! I’ll report back!

  8. Jessica

awww I need those diapers for my little guy!How have I missed these? I am at Target every other day.

    1. Jennifer

Lol. They were in an end cap at my store.

  9. Jordan

Do the Target diapers hold up well? I’ve wanted to try them but always hesitant on anything other than pampers. How would you rate them compared to Pampers? I might just get them only for the prints! Haha.

    1. Jennifer

You know I’ve never tried them either! I bought them just for the print!!

I need to check out those diapers! And again with the awesome Trader Joe’s stuff. Can’t wait til we get ours. My son has those same skeleton pajamas. They glow in the dark, and I about jumped out of my skin when he woke up with teething pain in the middle of the night, and I stumbled into his room, only to find a little glowing skeleton standing up in my baby’s crib. Hilarious.

    1. Jennifer

I always think it is so funny when they glow like that!

  11. Lynsey

Thanks for making me cry at work with that X Factor video….

Was it not the sweetest thing ever? Ahhh, that guy. I love him.

Wish they had the little shopping carts when I was a kid, as I would have been all over that! And I always get a kick out of the pictures of your boys, as they’re too cute!

    1. Jennifer

I think my mom used to bring us shopping carts to the store! I never even would have thought of that!
