SundaySentiments

As usual, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. I’ve “known” Jen for umm, 10 years (and yet we’ve never met), and she knows I do it, so it’s not exactly stealing. But then again, it’s not a link up either ;).

~Just in case you missed it Target’s Christmas clearance went to 70% off in my area today! You can check out my post here. If your store is still at 50%, it should be 70% in the morning. I am still restraining myself quite well I think because I am totally hoping lots is left at 90%. WB isn’t really that into digging for deals, so I had to work quick. But when it hits 90% off, it’s ON!

I was way too excited about this.

~I don’t think I mentioned it yesterday, but not only is L up-north (having an amazing time by the way), but B is in Wisconsin visiting family, so it’s just been WB and I around here. The original plan was for everyone to go, but then the kids got sick and that went out the window. Hopefully we’ll all make it there for L’s winter break in Feb (with a stop in Chicago on the way ;)).

~Is anyone else planning on doing a big clean out in January? I cannot wait! Between this week and next weekend I am going to (once again) clean out my closet and send in some stuff to thredUP (that reminds me I should order a bag), get all of B’s old textbooks sold on Half.com, donate a bunch of stuff to Goodwill, take down Christmas decorations, etc! Basically just do everything I have been putting off for the last month because I’ve been in holiday mode and have been putting off way too much stuff! It should be a busy week around here for sure.

~I know some people mentioned wanting another mixed box of Advocare Spark, so if you were one of those people, let me know because I have a few boxes left! And if you have no idea what you are talking about and want to know more about Spark, I am going to direct you over to Jen’s blog post on it so you can read about why it’s so fabulous (she’s way better at explaining than I am). You can’t buy a mixed box of all the Spark flavors online, so buy all the flavors myself and split it all up into boxes of 14 packets (just like if you ordered online) so people don’t waste money on an entire box of a favor they end up hating!

~I also need to spend some time with my Erin Condren planner these next few days and get organized for 2014! I’ve already lost B’s National Guard schedule for the year, so I’m off to a bad start. LOL! And I kind of don’t know which planner I really want to use. I have my orange chevron (they call it zig-zag), but I got that misprint one I am kind of loving that right now too. Such a big (LOL) decision!

~I haven’t figured out what all subscription boxes are coming this week, but I think it’s going to be quite a slow week around here!  Lots of time to get caught up on things!

That’s about it from here tonight! Any big Sunday night plans for you?

Totally doing a huge house wide clean-out too, starting this week. I don’t care if it takes months, I’m getting it done once and for all! I have two more classes left in February and March so I might slow down then but stuff is going. I’m just going to keep telling myself “do I really want to move this to another house?”. I’m hoping my answer is no more than yes. :).

    1. Jennifer

LOL! That is a good motivator! More stuff = more stuff to pack and move!

I wish my targets would make down to 70 or 90 %. They only do 30 and 50% because they donate the stuff that doesn’t sell to the Goodwell stores, and then they sell it for the amount that Target marked it for during clearance.

    1. Jennifer

      Where are your Targets at?

  3. Kels

I’d love one of the mixed boxes! I’m out:(

Ever since I started following your blog, I find myself getting ridiculously excited about Target’s clearance sales! I haven’t managed to score the deals you find, but I’m determined to keep trying!

    1. Jennifer

You will!!! The Christmas Clearance is the best one because there is SO MUCH STUFF included.

I spent the day sorting kids close. Doing one last donation run tomorrow and getting some stuff pulled to send to my two cousins who are both expecting. This week I’m hoping to get caught up on stuff and then pack and head to Disney. I can’t wait.

    1. Jennifer

I;m so jealous! Of the Disney part, not of the kids clothes sorting.

Tell me, is Disney doing any free dining plan offers this year?

This week I am going to make myself go through all my ipsy/glossybox make up and sort it into my saved glossyboxes and/or ipsy bags so that I have separate things for eyeliners, shadows and all the rest to prepare for after my eye removal when I get my glass eye and will be wanting to use my makeup so much more 🙂 my mom actually gave me a magnifying mirror for Christmas since she and I are both excited for when I won’t want to hide my left eye anymore.

    1. Jennifer

How long do you have to wait???

  7. Clarisse

I’d love to try one of your mixed boxes !

    1. Jennifer

      I will e-mail you!

  8. Barbie

I would be interested in trying those Spark things! I need a boost for sure, coffee hasn’t been cutting it lately.

    Thanks!

    1. Jennifer

I edited out your e-mail for the comment, but I will e-mail you!

Have you had good experiences with ThredUP? I have never heard good reviews 🙁

    1. Jennifer

It takes them forever to process a bag, but it’s so easy that I can’t even complain.

  10. Mandy

Spark is sugar free? Does it have imitation sugar in it? (I’m asking because I’ve had bad reactions to certain kinds of fake sugar in the past.)

  11. alyssa

Had to wait for my insurance to kick in on the first. Have a consult on the 6th and should be able to hopefully schedule surgery asap so my stupid pain will go away finally. I’m thinking about perhaps doing a blog series to cover the whole process of my eye removal since in my research I’ve only really seen one persons account of their experience. Haven’t made up my mind yet on that though.

    1. Jennifer

I think that would be quite interesting!!!

  12. Debbie

My target is actually putting NEW barcodes over some Christmas items, so they won’t get marked down as a Christmas item. The three rolls of scotch tape that are ringing at .90 cents for most is now ringing at $3.67 at my Target.

    1. Jennifer

I’ve heard of that happening in the past as well, with smaller toys, toothbrushes, etc.

  13. Kristina

Do you have any more Spark boxes left?

    1. Jennifer

I don’t, but I am going to order more and should have them by the end of the week! Is that okay?

  14. Amanda

I’m also interested in a mixed box of Spark too!

    1. Jennifer

I am going to order more! I should have them in a few days! I will e-mail you!

  15. Debbie Jensen

My targets are in Ventura, Ca

  16. Kristina

    Sure!!

  17. Jillian

I’d love a box of the mixed spark as well! Let me know when you get them in.
