I’ve been feeling kinda silly “linking-up” with this kind of love for What I’m Loving Wednesday because she doesn’t do it on a regular basis anymore;(. I do love the post though, so I decided to make my own button for it and if she comes back I’ll ditch it and link back up with her and if she doesn’t, I’ll continue to use it and maybe even make it a link-up of my own.

The Target Dollar Spot
The Target Dollar Spot

Fun Finds. WB and I were at Target earlier in the week (what’s new) and decided to really browse the dollar section to see what we could find. And OMG, did we find some fun stuff! The things you can get for $1 really amaze me. I need to start actually going to the real Dollar Store(s) every once in a while to see what goodies I can find there.

Reindeer Cam
Reindeer Cam

Reindeer Live Feed.  People. This is a live feed of Santa’s reindeer at the North Pole.  No, for real.  And every day, at certain times, Santa comes out and feeds the reindeer.  L thinks it is so cool!  We watched Santa feed the reindeer last night and it was so cute to see how excited L was.  He was thrilled!

Winter WB
Winter WB

WB.  After B got home yesterday all the boys went out to play in the snow and OMG WB went crazy for it.  He hated it last year, but this year was all smiles and giggles.  And of course, he likes going down the mini hill B made in the backyard the best.  The crazier the better for this guy!

Christmas Tree Peanut Butter Blossoms (aka Kiss Cookies).  What?  Why didn’t I think of this to easily make the most delicious cookies on the planet a little more Christmassy?? It seems SO easy, but without Pinterest this would never have happened at my house.  Genius.  Total genius.

Christmas Eve Box (image credit: unknown)

Christmas Night Box.  Now I’ve see this on Pinterest as a Christmas Eve box, but I think I am going to turn it into a Christmas Night box.  We don’t do anything on Christmas night and I’m thinking this would be a fun present to open later on in the day after the craziness has died down.  Pjs, snacks and a movie – maybe Home Alone?  I think L would love it!

I’m Loving…..

Snow L
Snow L

Winter L.  WB is learning how to play in the snow from the best, L!  He loves winter and asks to play outside every day after school.  He likes winter even better than summer and  would play out there for hours and hours!

Vacation Jars
Vacation Jars

Vacation Memory Jars.
I am totally loving this idea and think I need to start this trend at my my house.  Not only would they be fun to make, but I think we’d all love to relive our vacations as much as possible, and this totally fits the bill

That’s it from here.  What are you loving this week?

The best Hersey kiss cookies ever is when you make it with dark chocolate kisses, 100% more amazing!!!!

      Ohhh, I should try that!

I’m loving Target Cartwheel! I’ve already saved $100 using it…although, I’m not sure if that’s really a good thing. It’s like when I look at my Target receipts and see how much I’ve saved this year using my Target Red Card. Bittersweet.

I am so awful at remembering to use Target Cartwheel. I need to put a note on my debit card to remind me.

My six year old daughter tried to watch “Home Alone” recently and got scared (missing parents, bad guys) and couldn’t make it through the movie. My 8 year old son was loving it though. Just thought I’d share my experience so you have a back-up on hand in case L isn’t ready for it.

What is this winter you are talking about? Its almost 70 here this week and 80 this weekend. Craziness just craziness I tell ya. LOL
Love the vacation memory jars. Love that ribbon. Stampin Up had some similiar a few years ago and I just used some on a project yesterday for my friends. It is awesome canvas striped ribbon. So great.

I don’t mind the snow, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit jealous of 80 degrees!!!!

I downloaded the reindeer cam app tonight and the girls loved watching Santa feed the reindeer. Thanks for sharing it!

Did you see him riding the bike tonight? He’s a silly one that Santa!

The dollar section is even better with the 20% with cartwheel! 🙂

I need to pin a note to my shirt so I remember to use it!

Yep, we tried Home Alone a few weeks ago and my four year old couldn’t handle it either. He’s a really sensitive kid though. Also the Dollar tree is a great place to get generic spices. They are so expensive at the grocery store, so it’s certainly worth a look. 🙂

Definitely love the Christmas Night Gift Box idea…super sweet! And, who DOESN’T LOVE PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOMS! I like what one commenter said…DARK CHOCOLATE KISSES!
