Top Five Under $5

There are so so so many amazing products and other fun stuff you can get out there for not a ton of money, so today I’m sharing five things I love that are under $5!

~EOS Organic Lip Balm Sphere ($2.99): Yeah, I pretty much love these. I believe I have tried every scent / flavor and I don’t even think I have a favorite. When I decide I need a fresh one (I never really run out of lip balm), I kind of just grab whatever color I am feeling that day. So good. So cheap. And has anyone ever tried the EOS Lip Balm Sticks? I don’t believe I have ever seen these in a store, but I will for sure be on the lookout now!

~Suave Strawberry Shampoo / Conditioner ($3.49): Sometimes I just want my hair and the entire shower to smell amazing. And this stuff is amazing. Sort of related, but has anyone tried any of the Suave Seasonal Body Washes? Is it too late to get my hands on these? I remember using (and loving) the Whipped Cocoa one back in the day and loving it, but I hear they had an Almond Cookie this year? I’d love to try that.

~People Magazine ($3.99). Sometimes, at the checkout of the grocery store I get sucked in and end up buying all of these types of magazines. I pretty much base my decision on who is on the cover and what story looks the most exciting, but I do think People is the most reputable.

~Washi Tape ($1-$4): You guy win.  It’s fabulous.  Sure you don’t need it, but everything just looks prettier when you have it.  I have washi’ed my planner, Christmas cards, packages I have mailed and plan to organize my coupon holder (which I use for loyalty / reward cards) with washi.  The options are endless.

~Sharpie Twin Tip Markers ($3.97): I don’t know what it is, but I love Sharpies.  When I worked, I would get so excited when the giant box of Sharpies and Post-It notes arrived.  and I am still the same way.  I use them for everything.  Even for writing on washi tape ;).

What are your Five Favorite Things Under $5? Can be from any category / type of product you want! And yeah, I don’t really know why, but I’m all over the number 5 this week. I’m briefly considering picking six items for this, but it just didn’t sound right ;).

Jennifer, I so agree with you 5 times over!!! These all are awesome products and I use every last one!!! They are great and my two favs are washi tape and EOS. Love, love, love both of them. I love to washi Tape everything and I have EOS balls all over the house, car, craft room, bathroom and in the purse! Thanks for sharing.

I have EOS everywhere too! I really like them because the baby can’t get them open! Regular lip balm he can. Not these!

      Lol.

e.l.f. cosmetics….especially the translucent mattifying powder (3.00), all over color stick in pink lemonade (1.00), and shimmering facial whip in lilac petal (1.00)

    1. Jennifer

Oh you are good! Three things for a total of $5!

I love EOS lip balm. Took me a long time to buy my first ball (LOL.)… I am hooked ever since. Have you try Sharpie pens, they are great too! Never have/try Washi tape… I am afraid to start.

A few of my $5 “thrill”
$4.97 soft sweater from Walmart for my pup.
    Hurraw lip balm
    NYX butter gloss
    Nail sticker decal
    Andes mint!

      Those are good ones!!!!

I don’t know if I have tried Sharpie pens! I will check them out!

Sharpie pens are awesome! They’re my favorite pens and are about the only ones I can use for awhile without my wrist getting angry with me.

        1. Jennifer

I will look for them for sure!

I love EOS too! I buy mine at Walgreens! Sweet mint and the lemon one are my absolute favorites! They had an Alison and Wonderland trio that was awesome too! It had vanilla, which my then two year decided to eat and a blueberry that is amazing!! I forgot the third one, didn’t make an impression I guess.

    1. Jennifer

Ohhh, I want to try that vanilla!! If your two year old liked it, it must be good 😉

  7. Suzanne

My top five are: Starbucks! Have you tried the new caramel flan one? It’s a whole lotta sweet but pretty good! I like People magazines too so that would be one. A new song on Itunes. This is harder than I thought!! So I guess the last two are Starbucks!

I tried it yesterday! I liked it, but didn’t love it. I mean, I’ll get it again though…

I’m a fan of the EOS lip balm. I didn’t know there was a lip balm stick either. I also like lip balm by Yes to Carrots and Burt’s Bees. I’m starting to think my top 5 under $5 would just be an assortment of various lip balms. Ha! 🙂

    1. Jennifer

LOL! There are a lot of great ones!

  9. Catherine Faulkenburg

The Suave Rosemary and Mint shampoo is absolutely amazing and my favorite one ever. And it’s cheap. I’m also a huge fan of Avon bubble bath. I stock up when the huge bottles are only $4.

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, I need to try that shampoo!!

I love sharpies too! I have the lemon EOS and I love it. Is the EOS hand lotion as good as the lip balm? I’m still on the hunt for washi tape…I can’t seem to find it around here:( one of my fave things under $5 is a hot chocolate or a bagel from Dunkin Donuts. I also have a children’s resale shop by my house and I love when I find clothes from Gap or Ralph Lauren or L.L.Bean for $5 or under! I just got my two year old daughter the cutest pair of Kitty Slippers(L.L.Bean) from there and they were $4.99! They looked like they had never been worn:)

    1. Jennifer

Where do you love? They have washi tape at target, craft stores (Joann’s, hobby lobby, michaels, etc).

I don’t like the hand lotion as much.
