Ahhh!! I was up bright and early (i.e. before 8am) in hope that my Targets had their Christmas clearance 90% off, and they did!!!! Yes! Here’s what I picked up:
~Hello Kitty Lip Balm / Nail Polish Sets: $0.49 (reg, $4.99)
~Lip Smacker Sets: $0.49 (reg. $4.99)
~Mini Mouse Set: $0.49 (reg. $4.99)
I found all these in the clearance area, but make sure to check the end caps in the beauty section.
~Elf Nail Polish: $0.49 (reg. $4.99)
~Hand Cream: $0.50 (reg. $5.00)
These were found in the regular beauty area. Â Unmarked, but if you know what you are looking for, it’s much easier! Â I wish I could have found more of these hand creams because I LOVE them!
~Kid Made Modern Craft Kits: $0.89 – $1.69 (reg. $8.99 – $16.99)
My store(s) had tons of these. Â Just sitting in the regular aisles mixed in with the regular Kid Made Modern Kits. Â Just look for the holiday craft kits and they’ll be 90% off!
~Spritz Tree Crayons: $0.30 ($3.00)
~Activity Books: $0.10 (reg. $1.00)
~Spritz Paper Straws: $0.30 (Reg. $3.00)
Honestly I can’t even make shaped crayons for the price of these. Â $0.30 for 6 crayons? Â Im in.
~Tonka Trucks: $0.59 (reg. $5.99)
~Justice League Batman Figurine: $0.39 (reg. $3.99)
~KNEX Angry Birds Packs: $0.49 (reg. $4.99)

Some of these you can see have holiday packaging (the trucks and the Angry Birds and if you look super close at the Batman, you will see a little ornament on the box), but the rest you’d need to find in the clearance section or know what to hunt for.

I couldn’t find any boys pajamas, but that’s okay, I probably have enough from previous years. Â I found a few girls sets though and I just cannot pass up those deals!

~Deer Energizer Night Light: $0.99 (reg. $9.99)
~Boxed Pinecones: $0.60 (reg. $6.00)
A lot of people reported finding Smith & Hawken gardening stuff at 90% off, so make sure to check the regular aisles! And check your regular aisles for night lights too, because I know there are a ton of holiday ones out there.

~Jack Links Beef Jerky: $0.53 (reg. $1.79 (food is 70% off still)
~Hickory Farms Set: $2.99 (reg. $9.99)
Not all foods with holiday packaging are ringing up at 70% / 90% off, but if you see something it’s worth scanning. Â I’ve heard of beef jerky, cake & brownie mixes, fruit snacks, graham crackers, oreo’s, etc. being included.

~Scentos Markers: $0.30 (reg. $3.00)

Totally check the bakeware area and also the craft section!

For the most part I avoid the Christmas ornaments, lights, etc. because I have already picked up all those years ago at 90% off. Â But I couldn’t resist these blocks!!!
The HAULS!
I have posted about making goodie bags for the kids in L’s school a few times and it’s something I love doing. Â And I am sure the other parents think I am NUTS, but the Target 90% off clearance is how I do it and it’s so inexpensive. Everything in these pictures was 90% off, making them no more than $0.49 EACH! Â No way would I be buying 25+ kids gifts for $4.99 each for every holiday. Â But for $0.49/each? Â Umm, amazing! Â And don’t worry if the packaging is holiday specific. Â If I wanted to give out the Batman things for Valentine’s Day, I’d just take them out of the package and no one would know.
So how do you know what to look for?  Other than this stuff I mean.  Well, I always do some “pre-scouting” by looking at the Holiday Section before it gets to clearance time, but looking at Slick Deals in their Target thread always helps as well.  Start at the back of that thread and just kind of flip through for pictures, etc.  It TOTALLY helps to see other peoples hauls so you know what toy look for!

Wow! My Targets were wiped out. I was hoping to get more of the glitter but they all went at 70%.
I went to three stores today and I swear, they all had all the kid made modern stuff!
Awesome as always — still wish my kids were younger, but I used to do the goody bag thing too! I got those Wilton bowls, ELF stuff, and it was the first time I ever was at a Target when they still had Lots of Christmas lights for 90 percent — people were going nuts! If Jacob hadn’t had a dentist appointment this morning I probably would have been too late! #goodtimes
This year was crazy!!! My targets had so.much.stuff. Some guy bought like 10 tree stands. Lol!!

I was able to score on some Monsters U and Sofia the first plate sets that were considered Christmas… nothing Christmas on the package though and I wouldn’t have checked if I hadn’t been reading your blog so Thanks! I was able to get a few other treasures as well. I love after Holiday Clearance!

Wow!! The clearance shelves in my Target were almost totally bare even when the sale was at at 70%. I saw those hand creams before and didn’t realize they were on clearance–I really hope they’re still there so I can get them!

My Target was picked over. It was a mess. I did end up with 4 of the gel window decorations. 3@ .25 cents and 1 @.60 cents.
There are a few in my area that I don’t even bother with because they never have anything good. Others are great though!
I went to my Target last night and they had quite a bit. I found a Softlips set tucked away on a shelf and grabbed it thinking it would be 1$-2$ and it rang up for .29$! I was extremely proud of myself. They had a ton of Chapstick sets marked at about $2 but I should have scanned them, they may have actually been cheaper.

If the Chapstick had an orange tag it wouldn’t be 90% off. That is marked down different.
Our Target was mostly wiped out when I got there yesterday (it was still at 70% off), and I really did check the regular aisles too! I live up in the Twin Cities area (the land of Target), so it makes me wonder if our Targets are busier than other metro areas.
Maybe they don’t order as much stock
Or are better at stock management? I think some stores just end up with way too much!
Well I crazily took all 3 of my guys to Target while we were out today. LOL This was one I had not been to yet and surprisingly they did have some stuff still. We didn’t go through the toy aisles at this one but we got some bags, gingercookie mix (these are Ns favorite so I make them all year round), a couple of the craft kids and some wrapping paper. I’m sure we got more but thats what I remember. We really went for car snacks for the drive Monday.
I am so jealous you are leaving monday! I am hoping that the snow holds off so I can go to one more Target in the morning?? There was just no more time today.
Love those Christmas blocks!! They’re the main reason why I went early this morning and I found ONE (the other was missing a letter). Found similar things to what you got, but in much smaller quantities. In addition to those treasures, I also found two adorable shabby chic wreaths at $2 each, a sturdy doormat for $1.50, tumbler cups with twisty straws at 29 cents each, 6-pack of baby boy’s socks for 74 cents (having twins in March!), and stainless steel jewelry at 80 cents each. My trip to Target was surely the highlight of my week 🙂 🙂
Nice finds!!!! I couldn’t resist those blocks. For $2 I had to take them home. Sometimes I have to go to a few Targets to get a lot of one item for goodie bags. But if it’s something I really want I will totally hunt for it!

I went to one later on in the day and it was crazy! I found some good things, but it was all hidden away in the regular aisles. The clearance section was a madhouse!

Our Target was a mess too. I did get a container of small ornaments for 33 cents as nd blue joy candle holders for 50 cents. Looks . Like I’m going to two area Targets tomorrow!

I went tonight and got a few of the kid made modern kits. I was hoping for that Christmas tree advent calendar but no luck!
The most disappointing part was that I was really wanting to stock up on the spiderman/superhero stuff for my sons superhero themed bday party favor bags. I had seen them in with the stocking stuffers at 30% off but tonight they were moved to the toy end cap and back to full price!! Grrr.

I went to Target yesterday for our 90% off, but it was pretty picked over, yet I still came out with some incredible ornaments, a really cool LED star for the tree, and a TON of snacks for practically nothing. Our store has not marked down the toys, but based on the goodies you have I can’t wait for it!!
It all should be marked down at the same time since the things i got were part of the Christmas clearance? Unless your Target was out of it or for some reason did something else with it all? There is a separate toy clearance later in the month, but that’s different stuff and will only get to 70% off, not 90%.
I went to two and they were wiiiiiiped out. I picked up lots of LED lights and gifts for next year at 70% off. Alot of Xmas 2014 shopping is done.
90% off at Target netted me two superhero stockings w puppets for $1.20 each and a light up superhero ornament for $1.20. I was bummed fleece PJs were wiped out and only 50% off. Really needed a set so was reduced to Supergirl print (hangs head in shame). They are soft and warm though.
Wish I could have scored the eos balm/cream set! I don’t even think my Targets carried those this year.
I think the pajamas here (except for the random ones I snagged) were sold out long before Christmas! They went fast!
Oh and I’ve definitely noticed that my targets have been very tight on inventory management. The store managers must get a bonus if they don’t lose a bunch of money on Xmas stock.
It seems like clearance shopping is very boom and bust, lol.

Jen, just a heads up: if you buy 2 Goody hair ties, the 3rd one is free!!!!!!!!!! I have gotten four sets of the Christmas clearance ones in the last two days! The set of 4 that are on headers are ringing .40, so .80 for three packages. be on the lookout for the ball and the tube of ties also, they are .19 still a lot of hidden stuff left this afternoon!

Love that you post pics of your merchandise. Totally found several of the Hello Kitty lip balm and polish sets and the Lip Smackers set back on the regular beauty end caps. All rang up .49, oh yeah! FYI this was my third Target store in the past 2 days. 🙂 Now I just keep patrolling the toy clearance. Found some Skylanders mega blocks sets 70% off today too!
It’s possible that today is the dreaded “INF” which means that the items that are left on the floor will ring up “INF” instead of with a price and the store may or may not sell the items to you at the clearance price. In a perfect world, you should never find an INF item on the floor because they should have salvaged (removed from the floor) everything, but with all the hidden clearance items there are always INF.

Now you are in the correct forum. Scroll down until you find the “Target & Super Target Deals Thread. Keep OT to a minimum” thread! It’s typically on the first page, but you may have to find it go to the second page to get it every once in a while!
