Here are 5 things that are tops in my world right now:
1. Unroll.me: So Unroll.me basically collects all the e-mail subscriptions you have, puts them in one place for you and allows you to Unsubscribe with just one click. It will also combine the ones you do love in “The Rollup”, but I was just about the deleting! I saw this pop-up in my FB feed yesterday and though, why not try it? I ended up deleting over 1100 e-mail subscription (it’s fair to say my inbox was a mess) and this morning, my inbox looked better than it has in years!
2. Staedtler Marker Pens: After reading about how fabulous these pens were, I thought it’d give them a go myself. Amazing. I have been using them in my Erin Condren planner and notebook and they are the best pens I have tried so far. They sell them at Target (I mean it’s not like I go anywhere else) and I am quite pleased with my investment! I actually wish I would have splurged on the giant mega pack of pens!
3. Good Neighbors! The city actually wasn’t the one to plow our streets yesterday in this mess. It was one of the builders (who I count as neighbors) in the subdivision. He saw a mess and fixed it so not only could his crews get in and our, but also did the other streets so we all could. And last night as we headed out to dinner we saw someone in the next subdivision over who was stuck. So we stopped and helped. And then a few other people stopped and helped. And boom. He was out. If you are ever stuck or need help around here, people will run out of their houses to help you. A good neighborhood is a good thing to have!
4. Starbucks. Does that place ever close? Because every time I need them, they are there. And with a drive thru so I don’t have to get out of my car to boot. Once it thaws out (i.e. gets up to 0 degrees today) we are going to head out for a little afternoon treat. Thank you Starbucks. For not only being there, but being in a good mood!
5. Candles. There is just something about sitting at home in the freezing cold weather with a bunch of snow outside, turning on (yeah we just flip a switch) and lighting some candles. I’ve had them lit for like 5 days straight now, which is perhaps why I am needing some more Bath & Body Works ones!

3)Downloading my Christmas photos last night (which is a good thing because I also just download 2012 Christmas photos too) I know BAD>>>>>
4) that I made it through Monday at work after being off for two weeks
5) that Spring is almost here 🙂
I am guessing you mean the $10 off ones that came in our orders? Those expired on 12/31 if that makes you feel any better. I have heard they have done codes for Valentine’s Day so maybe wait for that???

thank you!!! I briefly saw unroll.me on somebody’s fb page the other day, but couldn’t find it later when i wanted to check it out! I just did it with my secondary acct – it worked great!!! So excited to get rid of those dang subscriptions – my secondary acct had 21 of them. I’m scared to see how many my primary acct has! lol.

– NEED Unroll Me DESPERATELY!!! Going straight there after I get thru today’s emails . . . too much (embarrassed to say I have over 89,000 emails in my inbox – I know, I know but that’s on the list for 2014)!!!
– LOVE THE STAEDTLER markers! Use them for SO MANY THINGS! Except, I’m bummed, I lost my green one (used it for names on Christmas Tags) and can’t find it – afraid it got thrown out in the mess of wrapping, so now I think this is an excellent reason to go buy the bigger pack!!! And, don’t ya just love the way the lid “clicks” shut … it’s the small thinks in life! LOL!
– And, I”M SURE you already know this . . . but I’m assuming you have a Gold Card to Starbucks so that you are getting your freebies, right?! If not, let me know . . . I love that I get a free drink or food every 12 visits (that’s like every week after my daughters and I go, sometimes more than once a day – I know, don’t judge)!
– And, yes nothing beats good neighbors and unfortunately , nothing worse than ucky neighbors . . .
– Last, my BBWs store had all candles on sale over the weekend, but they had all the new scents hidden in the back – only holiday and a few left from before Halloween . . . but they will go on sale next month after the big Spring scents are introduced.
Now, on to the next email . . . 🙂

Another thanks for unrollme.com. I am horrible at cleaning out my inbox and unsubscribing. I just skip the ones I don’t want to read and wait until I have 1000s of emails. This was awesome. Thank you for the great info and wonderful blog. And your kids are absolutely adorable.

I used unroll me but I am still getting emails from all the subscriptions that I clicked to unroll from. I hope tomorrow they are gone. Ps I am going to target to try out those pens. I love new pens. I’m a school teacher and it’s the stationary that gets me every time.
I think sometimes they take 24 hours??

My Top 5:
1) Our weather – which we pay extra for out here. It was about 66 today. Suns out. I opened the windows at work. I’m wearing a t-shirt. I feel guilty.
2) Starbucks – Because I truly look forward to my espresso a day in January. Even if the new Caramel Flan Latte was too sweet and tasted like their Brulee.
3) Dungeness crab – We had some last night. It was amazingly good. So glad I live where it’s not that expensive and the grocery stores crack it for free. And very happy that it’s low calorie!
4) My Book Club – They keep getting me to read books I never would have picked up on my own. Very much enjoyed “Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes.
5) My Bijoux Box customer service – My poor subscription has been a bit of a hassle, but they have been so great about everything, quick in response to emails, never condescending, etc. that I’d still recommend them to anyone. Other companies should take note.
I am ordering that flan latte tomorrow!!! I missed today (GASP), but I’m on it tomorrow.
Not more markers!!! 🙂 I purchased the Infinity ones that you talked about & for my planner they are too fat, but I love the colors & can use them for lots of other things. The new ones look great – adding them to my list for the next time I go to Target. I got some at Office Depot but they were not in a lot of different colors but I do like them.
I wonder if we got different ones, because I thought mine were too thin!
The Staedtler pens are 0.3mm, which I think is what my Infinity ones were, but these seem better??

I have to try this, my email seriously has over 4000 email messages right now. It’s crazy. Mostly from OK Cupid hahaaha. That’s what happens when you are a single mom of 2 kiddies and don’t get out much. You try the online dating thing, but then won’t go and meet any of them because they might be sexual predators or something.
I am cracking up because that would TOTALLY be me!
I had the caramel flan latte today and thought it was great! I really liked that it wasn’t overly sweet like some of their drinks!
I just ordered an Erin Condren Planner, the markers, and washi tape stickers. I feel like the biggest copier EVER and it’s kinda weird haha!

Hmm – I can’t get the reply to work! The Infinity pens that I got are more like a marker. The point is about the size of a Sharpie. But they are metallic so I really like them.
