Lip Factory Inc, who kindly sent me this box to review, is an exclusive, affordable (it’s $22/month), makeup subscription service. Most months Lip Factory sends a mixture of cosmetic products, but every four months they do their “All About the Lips” box. The last one was in November, so the next one should be next month!
Lip Factory ships via USPS First Class Mail. My box took a tad longer than normal to arrive due to the holiday and my mailman skipping my mail deliveries for a day.
Lip Factory ships a box in a box. I think it’s mainly to help it protect the items in the inner box from breaking and it seems to be doing a good job since I have not had any issues.
I hadn’t gotten a chance to peek at any spoilers for this box yet, so I was opening it totally unspoiled. I will admit, it’s kind of fun to do that, but I don’t think I could do it for every box!
The February 2014 Lip Factory didn’t have a theme, but the card said Happy Valentine’s Day so I am guessing it’s a love type box. Here is what was included:
~Teez Trendy Cosmetics Eve’s Ready to Wear Lipstick (Tempting Pink) ($18.87): The packaging on this one is gorgeous and I think my sister-in-law (she gets all my lipsticks) is going to love this. The color isn’t too out there which is always good!
~Teez Trendy Cosmetics Desert Metals Mascara (Midnight Sky) ($20.75): Not my favorite mascara (I really like the lengthening ones), but I will certainly use it up. It’s suppose to work fabulous in humid weather so it may be more of a summer mascara. This weather now doesn’t let me test that out ;).
~StarLooks Loose Pan Eyeshadow (Frosting) ($10): This color is gorgeous and is exactly what I would have picked for myself.
~La Splash Cubby Twist (Cabernet) ($9.98): I am always a fan of these lip crayons and don’t think I have one quite this dark yet. I realize it’s like a lipstick, but for me they are totally different and I like these way way more!
~Eyelashi Eyelashes ($9): I don’t need another set of false eyelashes so these will get passed along to a friend. But I do love the packaging on these. Probably the coolest packaging of false eyelashes I have received.
All totaled I came up with a value of $68.60 for the February 2014 Lip Factory box. As usual, this is a crazy value since the box itself is only $22 ($26 if you are in Canada) and even if you don’t love everything in this box, it’s always been worth the price of the box!
