Yay!! My March 2014 Socialbliss Style Box is here! I have been stalking the mailman today (so many goodies arrived today) and ran to the door when I saw the stack of boxes waiting for me on the porch.
If you aren’t familiar, the Style Box by Socialbliss, is a brand new fashion, lifestyle and accessories box.Boxes contain items which may be featured on the Socialbliss site, along with others that are emerging hot items not yet available to the public. Boxes are $47.90 ($39.95 plus $7.95 shipping) and promise a monthly value of at least $100.
The Style Box by SocialBliss ships via USPS Priority Mail and took two days to arrive to me in MI from their location in California. A lot of people’s boxes shipped on Friday (3/21) so they arrived on Monday (3/24), but mine didn’t ship until then so it just arrived today.
MUT discovered some spoilers on this one over the weekend and I have been seeing everyone’s box pictures which made me even more anxious for this to arrive! I saw something in the pictures I hadn’t seen before though so I was extra anxious to dig in.
When I opened this I felt Spring coming out of the box! It was all just so bright and pretty.
The March 2014 Socialbliss Style Box theme seemed to be a Spring in Paris type thing and the quote on the front was “Paris is Always a Good Idea”. Here is what was included:
~Melie Bianco Mattie Handbag ($80): This bag was designed just for SocialBliss and is a tad different than the one I linked to (it doesn’t have the strap for one). I might just love this one more though!!! It’s gorgeous (I was secretly hoping to get the cream one too) and perfect for Spring. And I actually have owned a Melie Bianco bag before. So random, but LC carried a white one on Laguna Beach and it became a hot item to have! ETA: If you are wishing this had a strap, e-mail Social Bliss and let them know you want one. It’s $4 and you’ll need to give them authorization to charge your card and the color of your bag.
~CALA 5-piece Eco-Chic Beauty Brush Set ($25): Ohh, I like the brushes and the case itself is very pretty. You can probably even wash it if it gets dirty which is awesome. I will use these for traveling and will feel fancy doing it!
~Flourishing in Florals Headband ($14): Not my normal style, but I will wear it with the bow underneath my hair so it’s just a flat headband. This may be better for me than I think because some of the elastic headbands give me a headache and there is no way to loosen those. With this I don’t even need to worry about it.
~Oh La La Baumes Pour Les Levres ($1): I don’t know the last time I purchased an Avon lip balm, but I like this! Plus, it’s less than a dollar which I also love.
~French Milled Lemon Verbena Bar Soap South of France ($1): This smells so good that it makes me want to use bar soap. Maybe I will use it as a hand soap in my bathroom.
~Bonus Item – Fuzzy Socks: I didn’t even know they did this, but I got a bonus item in my box for sharing last month’s box using hashtag #TheStyleBox! I guess they randomly pick people or whatever? So cool and I am so excited because it’s STILL freezing here and now my feet can look springy, but still be warm. Oh, they also publish people’s box pictures from Instagram / twitter on their information card that use the hashtag, so make sure to share and maybe you’ll see your picture there next month!
All totaled I came up with a value of $121 for March 2014 Socialbliss Style Box and, once again, I love it! Like I mentioned, the box itself is $39.95 plus shipping per month, so the value is triple the cost of the box. The bag alone made the box worth it to me. The rest is just bonus goodies.

Woo hoo! So I got a reply from the purse people AND SocialBliss after they forwarded my request to them. SocialBliss said they have been getting a lot of requests for a strap, so they have ordered some to make them available as a “must have” item to subscribers for $4, and they will do shipping and handling. I had to give them permission to charge me for it, a shipping address, and of course the color of my bag. I believe if anyone wants one they need to contact SocialBliss and request it. Score! Way to give customer service SB!!

I got an email that mine would be mailed today as well. What is so great is this wasn’t a mistake on their part, but they went an extra step to make us happy anyway. I’m guessing to meet their price point for the box they had to leave off the strap, and I am fine with that to get the purse, but being able to add on the strap is icing on the bag!
jeans and tshirt weather. I could really live in a location where I could wear jeans and a tshirt everyday. For some reason a tshirt seems so much easier then getting a long sleeved shirt to wear. LOL or maybe its that its just not too cold and not too hot yet.

Spring is my favorite season because it’s not so hot that you feel like you need to have a cold pool nearby, but not so cold that you have to wear 4 layers. Jeans work, but so do shorts.
