Socialbliss The Style Box February 2015

My February 2015 Socialbliss Style Box is here. I actually received a few subscription boxes today, but I opened up Socialbliss right away!

If you aren’t familiar, the Style Box by Socialbliss, is a fashion, lifestyle and accessories box. Boxes contain items which may be featured on the Socialbliss site, along with others that are emerging hot items not yet available to the public. Boxes are $47.90 ($39.95 plus $7.95 shipping) and promise a monthly value of at least $100.

Socialbliss ships via USPS Priority Mail around the 20th of the month. I actually received my tracking on this today which is the same day the box arrived.

First Look

I was SO curious to see what Socialbliss would send this month that I went on Instagram looking for spoilers over the weekend.  They didn’t release any sneak peeks this month and you really just never know with Socialbliss.  Some months have been fabulous and some?  Not so much.

The Information Card

The February 2015 Socialbliss Style Box theme was “Treat Yourself” and included the following items which are both “sweet and trendy”:

~Mitzique The Runway Bag ($55): This is probably one of my favorite bags Socialbliss has sent. It’s very similar to the Philip Lim for Target Mini Satchel bag that I have in Black and love!  The inside of it is navy stripes and it’s got both handles and a shoulder strap so you can use whatever option you prefer.  It’s smaller than my normal GIANT bags, but I will happily carry it.

~Mirabella Triangular Charms Set ($30): The earrings are cute, but the necklace might be a little too much for me.  Plus, I don’t really go anywhere that I could really wear this.  I will keep the earrings and pass along the necklace to a friend.

~Sweet Cupcake Towelette ($4): It’s probably silly, but I love stuff like this.  It’s a little towel wrapped up to look like a cupcake.  You can use it as a decoration in your guest bathroom or as party favors.

~Korres Lip Butter Glaze ($6.69): This is raspberry flavored and I love it! It’s lot a lot of shine and made my lips soft. I’m very happy with this.

All totaled (using mainly Socialbliss information card prices) I came up with a value of $95.69 for the February 2015 Socialbliss Style Box.  I have to say, I was impressed with this one.  After a rough few months, they seem to be improving and hopefully it continues.  I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the March box.  Hopefully we’ll get some spoilers on that one!

I got my box on Saturday and loved the purse! I sadly stopped my subscription after a year this month, mainly due to the inconsistency of the boxes and the value of products.

I just love that purse, but have to take exception to one thing. Even though it’s only $4.31 short, I take exception to the “valued over $100” claim. Remove that and this is a great box, but with that statement right on their front page it’s just a little off-putting to me.
