Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. I did a review on the July (full-sized) Dottiebox here and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.
Dottiebox Mini ships via USPS First Class Mail and took just a few days to arrive. I like that they ship their mini boxes in these cute little boxes and that they use the mini little information cards too.
I am always curious to see how the mini box will differ from the full-sized box and I was pleased when I discovered that they were totally different this month!
The July 2014 Dottiebox Mini contained the following items:
~Honeyrun Farms Beeswax Candle ($3): OMG how cute is this? I want to keep it for myself because it’s so cute, but I am going to pass it along to my cousin, who is also a beekeeper. I’ve seen her hives and I have also learned that it is much harder to be a bee keeper than one would imagine.
~Brooklyn Love Designs Key Fob ($9): Umm I love this! I actually just gave B my keychain for something or other, so I needed a new one. And the bigger the better because I am constantly losing my keys. I have no idea how they constantly get to the bottom of my bag, but they do. I don’t know how many different patterns / prints were sent out, but this is easily my favorite.
All totaled I came up with a value of $12 for the July 2014 Dottiebox Mini. It’s just slightly over the cost of the box (which is $11), however, if you bought these individually you would also be paying for shipping on them so it’s a much better deal than it may seem.

Excited to get my mini box this month.. I got it just for the beehive candle.. I have a slight obsession with the Spelling Bee every year! This months My Bakers Box had a Bee theme (adorable box if you haven’t seen it this month) so this candle will go perfectly next year with my Spelling Bee tablescape! LOL I will get great use out of the key fob as well..I can never find my keys in my purse! My husband can have his key out, be in the house, and sitting watching tv before I can find mine in my purse while sitting in the car…LOL
