Upholstered Headboards. I am totally loving upholstered headboards these days. We have a (giant) wood headboard and footboard and changing it up with just an upholstered headboard is so appealing right now. An inexpensive one to switch things up in there might be just what that room needs!

L’s Up-North Adventures. Although the weather has been kind of chilly, L is having an amazing time up-north. He’s going to all the places I used to go as a kid (Dinosaur Gardens for one) and is loving hanging out with his cousins! I can’t wait to see him tomorrow, but I am pretty sure he’d be game to stay up there longer!

Spray Paint. I have a love-hate relationship with spray paint. I love it, but I think it hates me. It honestly takes me like a can of spray paint to paint a tiny picture frame, but it looks so good when it’s done. Well, from a distance anyway. And the fact that you can spray paint plastic? Amazing.

New EOS Flavors! Ahh!! I have been trying to hunt the new EOS Coconut Milk and Vanilla Mint locally and haven’t had any luck, so I was forced to order online. Happily my order came in just a few days and I love them! I picked up a vanilla stick one too which is awesome. If you can find these, GET THEM.

IKEA Cart. Honestly I don’t think I could like this any more than I already do. I am still working on setting it up and the flowers may or may not stay, but I already feel like I need a second one of these. For something……

All of your IKEA posts and the fact that I just got the 2015 catalog in the mail are making me want to go to IKEA so bad. I NEED the yellow BESTA BURS tv unit.. and our tv console did get damaged during moving.. so it’s something I should probably get, but I think my boyfriend would want to keep the old one. I should figure out if it’s structurally damaged or if it’s cosmetic only, that way I have more leverage in convincing him we need the yellow one. Unless it’s ugly in person of course! We need a new couch now that we’re no longer apartment dwellers too. I’d be happy with another Klippan (really wish I’d have bought one of the long ones when they had them) but I think he wants an L couch.
Have you seen the plasti-dip spray paint? It’s spray paint that leaves a plastic finish.. totally awesome and I’ve been trying to figure out what I can paint with that. I already used regular black spray paint on some ugly gold but awesome sculptured mirror frames..
I’ve lost 2 eos lip balms now. No idea where they went. I started buying those because they have the best power and don’t melt in my pocket (Fresh’s Sugar lip balms are more moisturizing but do melt in my pocket and at $22/each are not something I want to waste) and I don’t accidentally wash them either.
I’m currently loving this new show on VH1.. Candidly Nicole! It’s Nicole Richie’s new show. I loved her on the Simple Life and now she’s just hilarious. I’ve only seen one episode, and apparently it just started a couple weeks ago, but I foresee watching that a lot!
OMG I love Candidly Nicole. I was laughing out loud when I watched last night.
And I just got my catalog today. LOVE. I have a date with it tonight!

Okay, it just too cray that I think I need (okay, want something) and then u post it. The pSMH Turkish towel. I staked ulta 2 weeks ago for the eos, and now the head board?!!??? There are so many thing i cant even think of but its funny. Omg!!! I’m on the hunt for that exact same style with some possible crystal button or something In the quilts! my husband gets so anoyed, I say Omg now jen is talking about it.. haha

I upholstered my own headboard. I took my old wooden one and drew the shape I wanted on it (Since it was a box shape and I wanted a curve…if that makes sense…). My dad cut it out. I put batting and the layer of fabric around it and staple gunned it to the back. Then I put a nail head trim around the edge. If I can make one at age 15…then anyone can really do it!
I think I’d have to get some PDF or whatever since my current headboard is so massive and heavy that it would be impossible to cover. I told my husband I should do it myself and he laughed at me!!!
The EOS lip balms are already sold out online! That was fast, I have never used EOS, but I kind of want to try the vanilla mint since those are my two favorite smells/flavors/pretty much everything.
